2014 European wildlife from all brands - Updated 15 January

Here is a place to post and discuss all the 2014 European Wildlife models from all the manufacturers. New official Pics will be added on the first post when available.

OHHH! That hedgehog   

I only fear that it is HUGE  

It is so great that you are opening these topics again. It is very useful and interesting.
The marine life topic is already specially nice.
As always, the European need some lending work, being a Safari figure, the raven could easily belong to North America but it is very well placed here.
I am also one of those that still need to confirm if it is a common hedgehog or really a pygmy hedgehog, I need to count toes.
But, considering it is only called a hedgehog, Europe is again the right place.
I suspect we'll have a poor year for Europe, my hope is in Papo but the only thing we know is an American bird.

I agree the European map could be empty if the Hedgehog is a four-toed one and the Raven not a common raven  .

I could add the raven on the Asian, African and North American map  

I really like the Raven, especially his feet.

Nice map Christophe, it seems I'm sitting on the raven's back (well, almost) and his beak is in my homeland

Looks great. I do not mean to be like a know-it-all but I think the hedgehog is an African species. But please keep it here to fill Europe unless the map gets too filled with other new 2014 species.

If it was me doing the work, I would surely also put both on European map until more information be available. Shawn is showing clearly that the hedgehog fits better a pygmy but if it is true, why is it just called hedgehog?
What I would never be able of doing is to put Ana sitting at the back of a raven and flying back to her homeland! what a good idea for a new elf.

I waited so long for a good raven figure, and now I see Safari made it!

As often with Schleich, we can't tell     I guess the company prefers saling many "bats" than less "Indian flying foxes" and I can understand the point.
