Nyala male will not be copied again. About bongo, perhaps in future I will make one in new pose, but it will not be the same as the first one.

Ahh ok thanks really damage for the nyala it's an amazing figure But bongo, I hope for this coming year :)

I got some news from Alexander and some photos of the current state of this model. Alexander has a plan to remake this model so it will be a portrait of a Fjord mare he knew in the past. The model will have to become somewhat more chubby and some details must still be reworked. I think it's interesting to see what is this model going through hahah

This is how she looked like before any major changes (and with Breyer tack on her). I think some sanding was done on her, because she had a lot rougher texture the last time I saw her.

Yes! A fjord!

So, not a fjord after all. The horse wanted to be a Hucul as it seems. I tell you, this model has a mind of its own, I couldn't finish it for so long because it apparently wanted to be finished by Lea and, as some of you know, Lea finished this sculpture recently
The horse is now a Hucul mare, it is called Wilga and it is a collaborative project with Koni Miniatures and Dark Pegasus Studios and Horse and Bird.

Here a story of this sculpture and its travels across the Europe:

I started this sculpture a few years ago and it was once a Hucul stallion, but I was never satisfied with the model and I changed it several times and finally I gave up on it and thought it would never be finished.
The model travelled to Poland, to Dark Pegasus Studios, where it was supposed to be customised and painted by Aleksander Freda and stay in his collection as OOAK. However, model somehow found its way to Finland, to meet hands of super talented Lea Magga from Koni Miniatures She resculpted the model in the most wonderful way, added tonnes of amazing details and the craziest mane and tail, giving life and character to this sculpture.
Sculpture that was so stubborn for a couple of years and I once thought was hopeless.

Now I would like to show you how she looks like now We have made a mould and copies too so we probably will see some painted versions soon.

I always enjoy little details like that.
Lea did a great job creating that true to nature look.

It's looking really cool, and the story it takes with him is also cool! sometimes you just need another eye to see its potential
