New for Mojo Fun 2014: Zebra

I am very honored to announce the new Mojo Fun 2014 Zebra, which I think is a fantastic upgrade from his predecessor. His painted coat, detailed and more defined head, and, in my eyes, the "on alert" stance are welcoming upgrades. Mojo has done a stupendous job with this updated species. He will be a welcome addition to my and many other members' herd.

There are three species of zebras: the plains zebra, the Grévy's zebra and the mountain zebra. The unique stripes of zebras make them one of the animals most familiar to people. Their stripes come in different patterns, unique to each individual. Zebras are generally social animals that live in small harems to large herds.They occur in a variety of habitats, such as grasslands, savannas, woodlands, thorny scrublands, mountains, and coastal hills. Grévy's zebra and the mountain zebra are endangered.

Definitely a big upgrade from the old one, but IMO he's a little cute looking.

Nice but unnecessary for me (as the lioness), my first thought was the African Wild Ass from CollectA.

Defenitely a big Dissappontment for Mojo-it Looks too much toyish and childish than a real zebra-and again a Plains Zebra.So I won't buy it.So it seems, zebras are to diffiicult to make, no brand has a really good Zebra yet.Last hope is Collecta...

Thanks Shawn for showing! Mojo needed indeed to update its zebra, the previous is a beautiful piece, probably the most charming zebra around but not one of the best among major brands.
This one is really a step forwards in terms of realism and surely one of the best zebras. A perfect silhouette, proportions and also expressive although the somewhat straight pose. Sometimes it is easy to find comments saying that a certain figure is probably not as good as Papo but now there isn't any comparison, if with other animals both brands compete closely, here Mojo has a huge advance. So I wish a long life to this figure and that Mojo will not need zebra updates next years. I was happier if it was a bongo but it doesn't dissuades me from seeing that this zebra is really great!

Good one, significantly better than the first Mojo version. Although in 2013 Mojo produces mainly rare species (and most of them are still not available in shops), for the next year Mojo probably decided to improve their more known and more common animals. Not the best news for collectors - do we really need another lions and zebras? Or are some rare species for 2014 still on the way?!

I'm sure the unusual species will be announce soon.

Yes, with the exception of the ring-tailed lemur, the common animals being replaced in 2014 are being presented first. There are also some not usual but that are new for Mojo and surely unusual species are also coming.

I think I will buy this one. Hope they make a foal as well.
I like the Grevy zebras more, but this one is nice too.

This is Equus Quagga Crawshayi (Crawshay's Zebra) subspecies of Plains Zebra :)
