| These lovely little creatures are maybe not so hard to find, but a lot harder for a Dane to find than the Minis from Schleich are. So I was thrilled when Margit (fern) got a whole lot of them and would trade some of her doubles, - and they are even in perfect condition, which is not the case for most of the ones I already had Westie poses for size as usual [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Finally I got the black horse [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The ant is perhaps not Bully, but it fits perfectly to the other micro-inscts I have. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My old Bully chimp was delighted to get a little friend [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here are the ones I had before. You can see it is a substantial addition to my micro-bully-floch [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| I'm learning so much on this forum. I had NO idea there were so many different animal figures! So Bully AND Schleich have done micros in the past? How old are these?
The little pig is ADORABLE!
Congrats Susanne! :)

| SO great, Kristie. We all learn a lot, it is great fun Originally these were made in 85 or 86. As far as I know they were not made for some years, but now they make them again, - at least some of them, so they are not hard to find any more. Bully made both Micros, Minis and small. I don`t have so many. You can see them on Torben`s site. Here are the two "sets" I have so far. Westie shows the size. | The micros are the smallest models from the Bullyland series Izzy, the mini's were 2 times as big, as you could see on the pics that Susanne did put here before. Schleich started with making mini's in 1965, up to 1996, and are comparable with the micro's of Bullyland. You must not forget, that the Bullyland company is the direct competition for Schleich, because it was led by the former son in law of Mr.Schleich, who worked for the Schleich company first of course... Because of a quarrell with the second wife of Mr.Schleich, he went from the Schleich company, and founded Bullyland for himself, just a few km's away from the Schleich factory, and it is still like this today! That is why they copy eachother in models and product-lines i guess... |

| Hey Willy, thanks so much for that information! It was obvious that the two companies are in direct competition, but I didn't know the history behind it! I have learned something new here everyday! -Kristie |

| You are very welcome Izzy! There is a book on the market, in which the history of the Schleich company is written down. In this book ,you can find all of this information. Here is a link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The price is 19,95 euro for the book... :)

Thank you!

| I do! But the downside is that we are not a big dealer. I work at a farm supply store so we mostly sell only the horses and farm animals...SOME of the forest wildlife. But ordering 2011 Schleich I'm afraid is way down on the list of priorities. Oh, if *I* were in charge!!! -Kristie |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I am sure you are right Willy, Bully seemed to make these micros and minis to show Schleich how nice tiny figueres an be |

| I do have a few of those smaller Bully's to, but i didn't know, untill shortly ago, that Bully made those very little critters to... More to collect... Bully made those models, because Schleich did so to, so Mr.Bully as his nickname was, and as he worked for Schleich before, knew very well what was good for business... It is nice to work in a place that sells Schleich and so on Kristie! Even when you don't have the whole range in the shop ,you can always order them for yourself for lower prices, which is very nice of course! |

This catalogue is like the "Gascher`s of Bully". It is all that Bully made from 73 -98, their 25 years jubilee magazine. There is everything they made the first 25 years including advertising, juwelry etc. Thomas (Bendie-Thomas ) got it for me : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Unfortunately it is in A4, so with my old, old scanner it would take me a whole day to scan it for the forum. Maybe some day I will |
