| The wonderful pictures of bullyland animals here inspired me to find my shoebox with ( my few) Bully(land) stuff. These two boxers cought my eye : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The small one is a Bully marked 1986. The larger one is BullyLAND. I wonder when and why the name was changed ? Mut most of all, - isnt it amazing that it is not longer time since people cut tails and ears off little puppies because of some fashion whim |

| They're really nice Susanne, I like the big one. I don't know why some models are called Bully and others bullyland, maybe because they couldn't fit the whole name underneath? |

| I love the newer boxer, it does look very nice Susanne! Yes, when there is only Bully under the model, this is an older model, and sometimes, it was used, because of the space under the model indeed... |

| My friend Nicole had a couple of bullyland dogs she wanted to sell, and one was the Boxer. I thought I had it already, but hers was not brindled. Wow, was I surprised when I got the doggies and saw that the "new" boxer was not only not brindele, it had the old fashioned , clipped tail ! So here we can see how, slowly, slowly, humas begin to get a little more humane in treatment of dogs. The little, old one has had both ears and tail clipped. Then one where "only" the tail was cut off ( ) and then the latest one with both ears and tail intact [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Congrats Susanne Strange, maybe it's the angle of your picture but it seems that red boxer is a little bit down in pasterns, when I compare it with the brindled dog... _________________ Robert

| Sorry, but I prefer docked tail and cropped ears. Without that a boxer looks like a malnourished bullmastiff. Ears cropped gives a more alert regal look : ) Just my preference.

It must be the picture, they look like it is the same mould except for the tail [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Funny, the short tail is much thinner. Perhaps because the poor dog can`t use it for wagging Thanks for your comment, Robert, so I discovered this other difference |

| The only reason for thinner tail on cropped dog is the difference in mold. Docked tail shouldn't be thinner from the natural.
I couldn't be so wrong about pasterns, could you be kind to take a side picture of 2 of them together, facing each other, with a camera in the height of their chest? _________________ Robert
