I'm also a big freshwater fish-figure fan. Know of anything new and exciting? I need to know as well!

I have 4 surfaces full of these little animals. I need to find a better way to display them. Or at least organize them by environment type.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Martin, what a epic and unforgetable video! That contemplative music is quite perfect to show how a crouded group of shelves could look absolutly harmonious when the owner is a dedicated and with a good taste collector. I loved it, your collection is now huge, more openminded and it hasn't lost any kind of consistency. Genial!

Wow! Thank you so very much Roger :) I´m really glad you like it. Funny thing is... it was my updated video and in two days after that I got 13 more animals :/ So it´s not updated anymore Thank you for you kind words. I´m surprised how big is my collection now knowing how I started ... "giraffes only"... yeah right :) :)

Somewhat new to STS. I am from Canada but currently living and working in New Zealand and, lately, I have been missing my large collection. What better way to fix this than to take a look at some of your beautiful collections. Doesn't matter whether you collect a specific animal or a little bit of everything. I would love to see your collection, however large or small!
Here are a few pictures of the small collection I have gathered here in New Zealand. The collection is soon to grow as I have some retired items in the mail. Will post photos when they arrive. Let me know if you want more info about any of them.
Not sure if these photos uploaded correctly as I have never uploaded photos here before.

Hello and welcome here
Thankyou for showing us your lovely and versatile collection
WOW !! That is a magnificent repaint of the Icey ! Even if pure bred Iceys, ( with pedigrees directly back to Iceland) , never have white stockings, because the Icelandic farmers think stockings give brittle hooves, it is a very beautyful colour.
Do you want to have this merged with the topic that Karin mentions ?

Welcome on forum and you have a very eclectic taste. Yes, you can see others collections through the link Karin provided and we can merge this topic there if you want as Susanne suggested. We can also rename the topic and use it as a thread where you show your collection. You uploaded very well your pictures and that's the first important step to start enjoying here.

Hi guys, thanks for all the kind welcoming. I think merging with the other topic makes a lot of sense but I am not sure how to do that.
I started with collecting schleich horses but as I am an animal lover and a zoology graduate my collection has slowly been growing to include a much wider range of wildlife and more diverse brands. Plus when I travel I love to pick up some native animals from that country (hence the new Zealand and Australian native species)

Thanks Susanne. I love the Icelandic custom too, though it isn't one of my own. I bought it from a local customizer here and absolutely love the colour and shading on it.

Topics are merged now, that's a moderator's job. I enjoy especially that you collect also figures from New Zealand and Australia.

A very beautyful collection ! Real eye candy
Please, what brand is that beautyful ribbon seal in front on the lower photo ? I think I have not see that model before
I wondered how much time would pass before anybody ask for it! A very remarkable species not done by any major brand yet... I'ts just the Schleich (assumed Harbour) seal (Phoca vitulina), customized by me for transform it into a Ribbon seal. Here you can see the (very simple) process:
