I find these "games" interesting once they tell us a lot of things.
First, it is fantastic to see 6 different brands in these 9 finalists. From major brands, only Schleich is not represented! It is only surprising once the popularity of a brand is often determinant. Interesting also to see a Kitan once the brand is almost unknown.
Papo is the brand with more finalists (3) and it is more meritorious once it is known a preference for unusual species among our community and 3 Papo are quite common species.
The best part is that I haven't decided yet my choice, it shows that there are a good group of fantastic figures to choose.

Kitan Club Brown Bear.

HO-ly crap... that brown bear is stunning.  Prior to receiving the email about the 2013 polls and coming here to participate in them, I hadn't even heard of the Kitan brand.  After voting, I had to run to eBay right away to snatch up one of these little gems for myself!

Shouldn't be too difficult to guess which of these animals my vote went towards.

Actually it is quite impressive that a poorly known figure is leading this poll so confortably. I wonder how it would be if Kitan was as known as Schleich.

I hope people is not tired from my conclusions but I enjoy it.
This is the poll that surprised me more. I don't doubt that Kitan figure is excelent but I believe it is not very known and missing in many of our collections. Actually, I only have 3 of the 9 listed figures. Though, I find it as a good surprise. An unknown brand, a normal pose and idea, a common species but the reason of the victory is surely the quality and realism that it presents
2nd place of stoat is another surprise, it is also a very realistic figure, the picture here posted shows it, but surely not the most impressive animal and very small. We know the sumptuousity of an animal also has influence in our choices. Maybe not only the realism, the figure looks to have a lot of character and a accentuated stoat personality, I am eager to get it.
Here the best performance of Bullyland with the 3rd place of wisent together with Mojo pronghorn. The Bully is the only I have from these 4 and it is surely a great figure, our hopes for Bullyland charged in a bull!
Papo for prehistorics, Mojo wildlife, Kitan woodland and Schleich farm.
That diversity of brands, shows that our friendly community is knowledgeable and impartial!

This poll wasn't unbiased,...really strange. If i think about it, i'd have found even better figurines from japanese brands,....It's just this bear being listed and lists being copied and modified,...

I don't know PeGe. I got several figures form Japanese brands from 2013 and from all of them, I think, this bear and white fronted goose were the nicest. I have also Bully wisent and Mojo stoat, they are great (stoat probably indeed nicer) but this bear is something special. And it wasn't very difficult to get too That's why I also voted for this figure.
