Yes, it was! Sharks (just like whales) were sold divided in three huge boxes. And in each box, was a copy of a sharks species poster, with informations. I bought all three boxes of the whales back in January 1997, so I have three copies of the whales posters at home. The same was done for the sharks: I remember seeing the illustration of the poster on the back of each Sharks box

Well, it dépends! If you bought your sharks second hand, the seller might not have included the posters!
