| In October one of my friends went to Japan to attend a wedding. I asked him to stop-by a toystore and find me some Japanese bears. He had a look around in several stores, but no luck. Nothing, no bears anywhere, only a single standard display of Schleich. But back at his aunt's house he saw these lovely two on the shelf above the tv. He told her he just had to take them back to Amsterdam. And he did. They are black wood, very light weight. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]On E-bay I found this cute bear, a rare Georg Zimmermann, Zirndorf [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Another E-bay find, this classic Schleich 14090 Standing polar bear male (old paint job). Here on the right, next to his modern dark faced, twin brother on the left. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I had never noticed before the old bear had a gray paint nose.

| I just was in Berlin for 10 days. At an outside antiques market i found this lead couple. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]No i don't collect moose, my ex does, so i could not let these two behind. I have seen figures like these online before, or look the same. A bit further i got these boys. They are Heinerle or Manurba [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All kinds of tiny colour variations. The painted one on the left i had, here next to the three newbies. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Both light bear came out to greet both their new darker twin brothers. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I had the two gray ones already. Two white ones are new. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I studied the two old gray ones. I can't find any variation except some molding seams, so the lesser nice one will move to my double-box soon. When i have enough doubles, i will make a wearable ornament or a necklace from them. I am sorry i forgot to put in my red legoblock.

| Every time I'm very surprised of the amount of great bears you find every time! And you know the difference between models you have and the models you find, you love your bears! Congrats _________________ ~Karin~

| Here are my latest additions. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich 16521 Cavebear, a gift from Portugal. Pfeiffer Tipple-Topple (better condition than the one i have) Safari 2907-29 cub, a trade from Friesland. Unknown black (colours variation to the one i have) On E-bay I bought this next lot of Bergen / BETON hollow animals, all colour variation. Some have faults like crushed bodies and cut-off paws. A big group of bears. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is a shot from my SUY. As you can see i have one of these bears in bright red. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Please check the Beton bear from TAI. In the E-bay buy were also included a herd of giraffes, a herd of zebras and two lions. I will put the giraffes, zebras and lions on my trade-page. If anyone is interested, let me know.

| I am glad that big bear arrived safely. He was really tired of his Portuguese cave. Oh, you even have condition variations of Tipple-Topple bear. |

I just finished taking pictures of all my polarbears this weekend, preparing a future SUY. And before I start on my panda's, I will do a double compare/walkaround of these two T-T oldies, in the next few days. |
