The first two years Papo made cows, they did not have bells Wink

I think Susanne is right that in the Blonde cow release in 2005 or 2006 are without bell!

That's still the most frustrating thing to me as a collector! As I often say, I wish Papo and Safari could be more like my Britains zoo animals....

I think I get more frustrated at myself for needing them to be roughly to scale Rolling Eyes Laughing !!! It means I miss out on a lot of great models like the Papo greater kudu and now this gemsbok!

Yes, Steve, "roughly to scale" would be ideal. But, I guess when the production/concept employees go to the zoo the elephants are just a little bigger than the lions, the giraffes are not that tall, and the beavers are as big as bears....

Well I think we all know they aren't that stupid and there are other reasons why they do it. For me, as long as each category of animal is roughly to scale with one another in the group then I can live with a squirrel sitting nearly as tall as a grizzly.

If there was a main and current manufacturer that used only one scale across the board then I would assume that my CollectA red squirrel would be a lot nicer and more detailed than their squirrel, therefore I would still go with CollectA.

BUT...Each to their own

Lovely model but why are the horns bent? It is pictured like that in the catalogue too, so it was intentional. I hope someone can straighten their horns and post a photo of it.

I will definitely get one...or two...ho hum.... Very Happy

I have written 2005-2011 in the entry of the old T-rex in my blog. I don't know where I have gotten the information, but I guess it's true.... : )

You're welcome! flower If you want the retired green one it is not hard to find but I'm sure very soon it will be out of stock once T-rexes are always best-sellers. bounce
