Achille from Harriet arrived! Now he's PAINTED :D (pictures page 2)

Today I received a package from England, from our Harriet. Inside this package I found beautiful model of horse, magnificent and amazing Achille!!! As many of you know he's Percheron stallion model in scale around 1:30 (like Stablemates in Breyer) And he is wonderfully detailed, very beautiful and I really think he's the best horse figure in my collection

I will soon start painting him and I think I decided for silver bay colour for him. Something like on this picture

I know pure Percheron's in this colour probably don't exist but he could be cross breed then

I'm so happy with this lovely newcomer!!!!

Harriet is very competent sculpting every kind of animal. Not long ago, I revisited some of her topics. It is amasing her talent. Although a very small figure, it is brilliant. Now it is time to other talented hands to crossbreed that Percheron and give it a new life.

Yes Harriet made a lovely model of horse and indeed in Stablemates size. I really love this kind of small sized figures, they are easy to display. Even if I don't have too much space to show my collection now I can find show place for the horses like THIS (). I don't know if my hand is accurate object to show the scale but you can see the approximate size on this photo:

Some excellent colors to paint, but I like the first one more too
The second one is Finn horse I guess. At least the photographer is Finnish.

I like both colors but my suggestion was another though I suspect I am late. As you don't want to keep it as a Percheron, his conformation could be used for an American Cream Draft, a rare breed of a wonderful color. I hope it is different from your first!
Cream coat, pink skin and amber eyes.  (golden champagne sabino)

Roger, I really love this colour! It's amazing!
However for Achille I think I prefer a little bit darker shades and more intense colour. I will remember about American Cream Draft for my future projects and customs, I do think it's very pretty breed of horses with really sunny colour  Also I think I will safe this particular photo because it's so pretty combination and beautiful facial marking (golden champagne sabino, wow! )

This idea of an American Cream Draft popped in my mind originally for a repaint of your wonderful Suffolk Punch, I also find it wonderful color and there aren't big exigences in terms of conformation to these horses, what determine their breed is their color as long as they are draft horses.

I didn't know that an animal named American cream draft exists This percheron is superb Anna and I can't wait to see it painted by you. The conjugation of two great artists talent will surely give us a lot of emotion
