I hear Geoworld is stealing artist designs. Is this true?

I was hoping that discussion would not spread to here

The card that come with there models have artwork that are made by other artists, but they don't have there permission.

My point ? I absolutely dislike these kind of things, just as I don't like the last Nayab thing.

Well i wanted a second opinion beside DTF is all.

We are also a good place to discuss that kind of subjects, so no problem having that discussion here.
My opinion is simple, artists work should be respectedand not used commercially without their permission.

Oh so its the cards NOT the figure. I thought they were "copying" the figure.

Oh no its not. Just they way its been said, sounded like the figures are being copied.

Wow, that's really unfortunate, and very low. There are some really fantastic artists out there, even extremely well regarded, who are barely able to scrape together a living wage. Companies using work without permission is contributing irresponsibly to an already serious problem.

With all of the ruckus about Geoworld and plagiarism, I feel as if I should collect them all while I can before someone sues them and make there products rare. but I have faith in them because the mammals cards seem to have digital copies of the models instead of someone else's work

I want a coelphysis cause its my only Dino in my area.

the figures are also being copied, just from different sources than the cards
not every figure seems to be copied, but some of them most certainly are

I just want to say this that the Animals on the cards that come with the mammals look like Drawings of the figures they come with. Not something completely different like with the Dinosaurs. Perhaps Geoworld is doing things differently now
