CollectA 2012 Photos: Giant Eland Antelope

Hi all

Here is the photo of the Giant Eland. This is the prototype and not the final plastic version so the final product will be a little more smoother in texture. I hope you like it. It is one of my favourite new CollectA releases of 2012 along with the Giant Sable.

That is indeed the photo used for inspiration. I loved that photo as soon as I saw it and so we used this one for the design.

I totally agree, Susanne. I didn't like 2011 that much, but Collecta and Mojo are working really hard!

Looks realy good, I like the head a lot.

But isnt the texture of the body (the "fur") a little wierd It looks like lots and lots of tiny holes. But hopefully thats just the pic

I´m sure it will be lovely, and I´m definetly getting this one, and of course the wilderbeast

Another fantastic CollectA release for 2012!
Somebody finally got the idea of making antelopes and gazelles in the first place, and then making fantastic models overall!
Great job, a must have for sure!

Wow! He is incredible! I think 2012 is going to be the year that a couple of antelopes find their way into my collection. :)

I'm completely stunned! It is marvelous!

Amazing, the horns and body are perfect. Such a great additiona and exotic, finally they listened to us. The only criticism is that the long hair doesn't look lokg around the neck and something about the head looks unusual compared with the picture of the real animal, but these will probably not be evident on the final product, well done and keep it up. I can't wait to buy it, such a great company!

i can't wait to see him when his coat has been smoothed out. Eland is so sleek that it looks odd on him.

i dislike that dippled texture on any animal; it makes my teeth itch.

I like a lot that figure, it looks very natural and the main characteristics are correct! :) Great work from Numaan and CollectA! :) Also a very waited and wanted figure! Without fantasy is less impressive but much better!
