Yes this is an area CollectA are definitely lacking in along with Monkeys so will push for these for the future.

Speaking of our Philippine Fauna, we have a lot of endemic animals in the Philippine itself. But I don't think any of these toy companies will risk their monies manufacturing them without any guarantees that it might not be popular to the world market as well? They maybe beautiful and unique animals but they are also might not be very appealing enough to the public? As we all know, the majority of these buyers are coming from the European, North and South Americans and perhaps the Oceania regions and perhaps the Asian market plays a very small percentage only?

I think i must agree with Ron here, but we can hope, isn't it?
I hope for many birds and monkees for 2013, since they made so many wanted and bigger species for 2012.
There are species enough around the world, we wouldn't have time enough to collect them all!

Hello Laser. I agree with you: those companies rarely take risks. Safari and Schleich 2012 collections are clear signs of that. Problem is: countries with splendorous fauna, such as Phillipines, Brazil and so on, are underepresented. It is a shame! But let's hope that at least a philippine eagle be presented!

A Philippine eagle sounds great but any eagle I would be happy with that isn't a Bald eagle, there are too many of them on the market.

Yeah, when you look at the current eagles, you would think that a bold eagle is the only species there is...
