Oh, they are really nice! The male is much better than Safari Ltd male, even if he is smaller. And the size is good too, they match Papo tigers perfectly I think that now it is the best lion couple that is present on the market (Unfortunately I haven't seen the new Papo lion, but I guess he would still wield a crown of all wild cats from the famous brands )

Yes, I think from the lion males the Mojo is indeed one of the bests or THE best
About lioness, in my opinion Papo walking one is still unbeatable.

Great walk around Agata! I already expressed my opinion about this lion and although I still don't know new Papo yet, this is just the best lion I know from all history of toy industry. Proportions are perfect, pose is sublime, I am not a big enthusiast of roaring figures, and I love figures in natural walking pose. I don't have the female, it seems one of the best too but here I agree that Papo lioness is unbeatable, seconding Ana's words. It will be hard, even for Papo, to make it better. :)
What's the importance of having the best lion? First, it is the wild animal more often replicated in toy shape what says about its importance, then, even good quality brands, make often bad lion figures, remember Schleich and Bullyland for example, hard to find a decent lion in their long lived ranges.
Another interesting point is that brands of average quality, sometimes make good figures but never good male lions. I love my Mojo lion!

I'm agree the male lion is the best that you can find on the market at the moment. But the male looks a little hard, maybe that is because of the painting? (Sometimes I'm really feeling that the people think I'm a hater of Mojo).

They go very well together. I was perfectly happy never getting a male lion, until this one came along. Now I want my local source to run out of old Mojo lion stock and replace it with this!

edit that: I checked and they do have the new lion now. Wonderful except for off-center eyes on the two I saw (an easy fix though).

Like it! Late, but still want to write that Mojo Fun has its own style and vision of the big cats, which I like. While now, no one is in my personal collection, but the tigers I definitely want to buy soon! :)

Great to see this topic again, now I know from local shops the new Papo lion, a very good and tempting figure but the Mojö lion keeps being my favorite of ever together with Papo lioness.

New version of Papo lioness has terrible painting! They really destroy this beautiful figurine.

Alas yes, Papo lions paintings were stunning in the past and now it is like nothing

It's all the more of a shame and incomprehensible because the new models, like the birds, are very well painted.
