13257 Swiss Brown Bull

Finally acquired this one, the last of the cattle (pre-2012) I didn't have.  It's quite difficult to find one without significant
paint rubs, etc.

A PERFECT specimen

I got the whole family when they were still being produced, - and they were full of paint loss when I took them out of the plastic bags

Then my dog chewed the calf to shreds, - I certainly never had luck whith these beautyful models

He is in excellent condition! Congratulations!

Thanks, Susanne. Actually, there are a couple of very small paint rubs, but otherwise, it is clean. I'm not surprised to hear
that you received brand-new ones with paint damage. Much like oryx, which is difficult to find without the usual paint rubs
by the top of the rear right leg...

Gorgeous copy! I have one all banged up and then dropped an arm and a leg to get a nicer version. I'd like to get a clean, unmarked version of the Swiss Cow but I doubt it'll ever happen. This is quite a find. Congratulations Phil!

Thanks, Andreas and Scott. Scott, we'll find you a nice Swiss Cow, but if flawless, I think it will be difficult to find anything under USD 25 and even that may be challenging. Buy-It-Now listings for the bull and even cow generally offer significantly flawed figurines for 20-30 euros, not including shipping from Germany, so I think a finding a good auction is the best approach.
