Hi, I am Gwaine and I take giving names to my horses to a new level. It is, if you will, an art. I am now going to introduce you to my horses in alpahbetic order and tell you why I have named then the way I did. A[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This my red Trakehner Stallion Abel. I named him Abel because in the same batch was a horse I named Kain and the tale of Kain and Aebl was buzzing through my mind. In the tale it is Kain who is the baddy, but I've always taken Kains side, that is why I decided Aebl is in this case red as blood. Irronically, I do like Abel better than Kain. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Haflinger colt Adam. His name is less biblical. I got him around the time I had my last weeks at the stables where I had horseriding lessons since I was 7, so 10 years of riding I had already behind me. Around that time the stables aquired a haflinger who was quite a bit larger than average and I was completely in love with him. His name was Adam, so when I got this little boy, I did not hessitate to give him the same name. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Dartmoor filly Aerith. She is named after Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy. I did this because she looks so innocent and shy and any time I saw her in the store I heard Aeriths soft and frail voice. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Marbacher mare Alayaya. When I recieved her [for my 22nd birthday from my father in law] I was reading A Song of Ice and Fire. In this series there is a character, a whore named Alayaya, whom was described as dark of skin, a shade of brown I imaged was the same as this horse's color. Therefor, I named her like the whore. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lipizaner mare Alysanne. With her I picked up the habbit of naming white horses after Targaryens. Alysanne is named after Good Queen Alysanne, one of the most cherritable Queens Westeros ever knew.I named the model after her because I think it's body stance is rather gentle and introvert. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]KWPN mare Anaïs. So this story is a bit of a wacky one. In my boredom at m boyfriends place I started watching 'The Amazing World of Gumball.' the most wacky series on cartoon network. The series itself was quite and LSD trip, but the name of Gumballs sister, Anaïs enchanted me from the moment I first heard it. And because this model did also enchant me from the first moment, I matched model to name. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arab mare Anck-su-Namun. First things first, the model is about as ungaining as the 2015 Knabstruper. I do not like her. So I also sought a name of a character I did not like, yet sounded very beautiful. I had recently seen the mummy returns and thus came to the name she currently has. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pinto Stallion Angeal. He is one of my oldest stallions. In this time I was totally crazy about Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core. I am now very aware that Angeal isn't very much befitting for such a spotted jolly looking guy, where as Mr. Hewley is very stern and a bit more muscular build. But at the time I thought this guy looked quite heroic and honorful and thus I called him Angeal. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shire foal repainted to Tinker Filly Anna. I obtained her from a member from the Dutch Schleich Forum who had repainted her. It was in a time that I named my new horses for Supernatural characters. SPN has few good female characters, but I found the angel Anna a good namesake for her playful innocence. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hanovarian stallion Aragorn Ellesar. I am a huuuuuge Tolkien fan and I could hardly get around naming a horse after The King of Gondor. I first ment to call this guy Stranger, after a horse from the stables I used to ride at, but then I realised he is a foxy red dude. So my next best option was of course look at Viggo Mortensens haircolor and figure out this steed was perfect for Aragorn. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Akhal-Teke stallion Ardeth Bay. Innitially I planned on calling the lad Thor, but then I figured I had best save that name for a Fjord. And so I searched for an appropriate name for a desert dwelling horse. And then I came to The Mummy, the greatest crappy low budget film you will ever seen. And I do love Oded Fehr, Oded plays The Pharao's guard Ardeth Bay, scramble the letters and his name spells Death by Ra, a greater name for a desert dwelling horse I cannot think of. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Iceland mare Arianne. She is named after the princess of Dorne, another A Song of Ice and Fire character. I thought she'd befit this name because in the series, Arianne does quite a lot of running like this model does. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Haflinger gelding Arjo. Named after a fat old stubborn Haflinger from the stables I used to ride at. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hanovarian mare Arwen Undomiel. The Elf to the Ranger. From the moment I decided that the stallion was going to be Aragorn, I also knew the mare was Arwen. To make the couple perfect and because I just think she is very graceful and beautiful. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Knabstruper mare Ashflake. First things first, is she not much better looking than the 2015 one. I named her Ashflake because over the black spots that are a little vague around the edges, which makes it seem like she is littered with flakes of ash. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Quarter Horse mare Athene. I named her Athene after the Greek Godess of war because I was in a period of severe agruements with my parents. Comming soon: B, feel free to leave featback. _________________ Breyer: 66 Bullyland: 25 CollectA: 183 Papo: 82 Safari: 150 Mojo fun: 23 Playmobil: 117 Other: 288 ~ schleich count: 1222 ~ Total: 2156 My DeviantArt: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]My Twitter: @Tezzieh My Instagram: tessa.b.storm

Well, let me get right ahead then! B[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Fell Pony stallion Balin. I had been to The Hobbit a few weeks before I saw this fellow. I must confess it took me a while to actually purchase him. But the monet I saw him I knew this was the one to call balin, old and so grey it was white, so wise and careful. I bet Kenn Stott woudl agree!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arab stallion Balraj. At the time I bought him I was carazah about Bride and Prejudice and Naveen Andrews. I just loved his fine buuld and it did quite remind me of Naveens fine build and his cheerful flirtiness taht he displayed taht I also find in this model. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shetland Colt BamBam. Bams namesake was a shetland gelding from the stables I used to ride at. He was real stubborn and has about the same spots as this model, it was an easy decision. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Knabstruper stallion Bifur. Another member of Thorins company. Bifur is an odd dwarf and the Knabi's are odd horses. It was so easy to match this gnarled face to the dwarf with an axe embedded in his skull. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shetland gelding Bilbo. The Hobbits leading character perfectly shaped into a Shetland Pony. It is an Limited Edition, which befits the role of a hero. Even the colors are very much right! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Friesian stallion Blackstorm Von Pendragon. I could literally write a novel about this model and it's name, but I am not going to tire you with it. Let's just say that from middle school on I've always wanted a Friesian stallion and call him Blackstorm Von Pendragon, a name that stuck with me since I were like 11 and I can't even remember clearly where I picked it up from. All I knis that as soon as I got my hands on this hotbod, I named him Blackstorm. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Appaloosa stallion Bofur. Lookity. That cheerful gait, the windswept mane and those silly spots, that can only be our always cheerful and jolly Bofur. I do love Bofur and Jimmy Nesbitt a lot. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shetland gelding Bombur. Must I really explain myself here. In the book they say 'Poor fat old Bombur' a great many time sand that is what I think when I see this pony. Poor fat old Bombur. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hanovarian mare Bonfire. I do not like this model at all, I just have her to complete my collection. Since a long time I planned on naming her after the pride of Dutch dressage, even though that was a stallion and probably another breed. I don't care much, I just tappered a rather boring name to a buttugly model. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hanovarian colt Boromir. It went so automatic. The moment I saw him I loved him and the same was the case with that Gondorian man as portrayed by Sean Bean. I felt like I could get him to come back alive just a bit by naming this foal after him. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tinker stallion Braig. This one stems out of my Kingdom Hearts period, in which I just learned to decipher the org XIII. At that time I had no idea what Xigbars somebody would be like, but I figured he would be as rugged and jolly as Xiggy himself, so I named the horse Braig, because he was rugged and jolly but not so wild as Xig. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Icelandic gelding Brandon. Bran is like Brans Stark, always up to mischief and speed. The model reminds me of Bran rushing around with his direwolf on his heels and he makes me smile when I look at him. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Black Forrest mare Brienna. Yes I am a Thronesie, does it show? Brienan is like the Maid of Tarth in her rather firm build and she looks so brave and fearless, with those forthcomming eyes. She is simply so pretty. Soon to come C_________________ Breyer: 66 Bullyland: 25 CollectA: 183 Papo: 82 Safari: 150 Mojo fun: 23 Playmobil: 117 Other: 288 ~ schleich count: 1222 ~ Total: 2156 My DeviantArt: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]My Twitter: @Tezzieh My Instagram: tessa.b.storm

Omg, Jonas, you make me shy . All those compliments . C[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arab colt Calimero. A very popular model that I just do not like. I used to, but comparing it to the models I adore, this thing is just not it for me. Everytime I look at it I just think 'Meh'. It's name is Calimero for the sheer reason that it rhymes with Salinero. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Dartmoor stallion Castiel. Alright before I explain why this model is named after an angel with 'rusty' 'people skills', let me tell you that I freaking love this little boy and the moment I saw him was the moment I fell in love with him. He really has a special place in my heart. I named him Castiel because I planned on naming all my repaints after SPn characters, of course I did not pull through with that, but that is another story. At the time I already had a Gabriel and a Sam, so I was piping for another angel. Seeing this little 50 shades of grey model I knew he had to be the socially awkward Cas, especially because his front tuft is the same shade as Misha Collins hair. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]TWH mare Catelyn. Another model named after a Game of Thrones character. Lady Catelyn Stark is a very ellegant woman and this model is a very ellegant horse. She looks the slightest bit arrogant and I think it incoperates the way Cat dislikes Jon Snow. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]TWH mare Cersei. Can I, before I star, give props to the one who decided she should have brown eyes instead of all the demonic black eyes that stare at me at night. Jkjk, I just liek how her eyes are brown, it suits her colors better. Cersei is a color variant of Catelyn. Catelyn is wed to Ned, Ned is best friends with Robert and Robert is wed to Cersei. Sometimes I am that lame. JOKES, this horse befits her name because of her elegance and beauty, she looks like a queen and her base color is like golden hair of the Lannisters! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arabo-Friesian stallion Chrystalis Von Pendragon. Quite an elaborate name, I know. When I saw this model, I wanted him to have a magical name. I do not know where I picked up the name Chrystalis, but the moment it popped in my head I knew it was the most magical name to ever be given to this model. The Von Pendragon part implies he is a purebreed son of Blackstorm. He just forgot to turn out black. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pinto Yearling stallion Cloud. Named after the great Cloud Strife, for the sheer reason of looking pouty and emo. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3/4 Tinker stallion Curufin. Maybe, before I do an in depth explaination about his name, I should explain his herritage. Curufin is son of Feanor, who in turn is son of Blackstorm. Both Feanors and Curufins mothers are Tinkers, which makes Feanor half Tinker half Friesian and Curufin 3/4 Tinker and 1/4 Friesian. Curufin and his father came to me at the same time. I had already determind Feanors name, but I needed a good name for his son. So I took in hand The Silmarillion and picked a nice name from the Elfs sons. Curufin is the fifth of Feanors sons and this model was the fifth of my Friesian repaints. Comming soon... She wants the D_________________ Breyer: 66 Bullyland: 25 CollectA: 183 Papo: 82 Safari: 150 Mojo fun: 23 Playmobil: 117 Other: 288 ~ schleich count: 1222 ~ Total: 2156 My DeviantArt: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]My Twitter: @Tezzieh My Instagram: tessa.b.storm

And now the moment you have all been waiting for! She has the D! D[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Camargue mare Daenerys. My first horse named after a Targaryen. This I did because she looks so fierce and stern. It is a very nice model, but doesn't look too friendly, like Dany, who is a very beautiful woman, but the longer she travels, the less friendly she gets. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arab colt Dante. Lady's and gentleman, boys and girls. I proud present to you, my sweetbaby. He is the cutest little thing and I humbly apologise for the vague picture. I might take new mug shots this weekend. His name is from Devil May Cry: Reboot. But this cute little thing is in no way like that trailertrash demon killer you name him after! I am very much aware of that. And maybe that is why I called him so, because he couldn't be more different than his name sake. My little bae is a real mischief maker and he loves attention. He always wants to be the centerfold of attention and never likes when I am away from home for the night. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]KWPN mare Dark Thunder. It has been quite a while since I gave her her name. I think I called her Dark Thunder because she looks quite mystical and fierce. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arab colt David. Named after my favorite guitarist. David Bonk is a tender and gentle soul who loves playing guitare and piano. The moment I saw this little thing I knew I fell for it as hard as I fell for David. He is fortunately not as much of a little attention seeker as his cousin Dante. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Dartmoor stallion Dean. I needed a Dean to my Cas. It was an easy choise of making this the one. He is so collerful and catches the eye, where Cas is grey and modest. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shetland mare Dees. I went to a dutch second hand site to buy her, not having any idea what to call her. Her former owner did not know which of her items I wanted so I send her a picture saying 'Deze' which is dutch for this one. Deze can be botches to Dees and so she came to have her name. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Friesian mare Demoon. Like her mate Blackstorm, I had Demoon planned out since a long time already. I don't even remember why I choose to name the mare in my fantasy Demoon, but as soon as she became a solid model in my hands, she wore her name with pride. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Andalusian stallion Diacon. This horse is named after a horse from the school I used to go to. I heard it and immidetaly thought it a suited name for a pretty horse with a fierce temper. Because ven though it is all primmed up in pink, Diacon is a fierce steed. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Camargue colt Dilan. A foal of my Kingdom Hearts time. I knew Xaldins nobody would be named Dilan back then, but I also had a rp friend who didn't really much like to open up to a lot of people. This baby looked so shy taht it reminded me of her rather than of Xaldins nobody. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Knabstrupper colt Dipstick. This is a dalmatian horse, so why not name him after one of the worlds most popular dalmatians, who made it to 101 and 102 dalmatians. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Fell Pony mare Dis. Named after the mother of Fili and Kili, Thorins sister Dis. I had already named her babyboy Kili, so it was easy to name this hair little lady Dis, because as I understood, lady dawrves are as hairy as their men, and this mare has a lot of mane and feathers to be proud of. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Riding pony Dori. Another dwarf, isn't this great. I named his Dori because he is so simple and unspecified looking, which I also think of Dori as a dwarf in the films. All that is specified about Dori is that he mothers over Ori just a tad too much and I can just picture this model mother over my Ori. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Clydesdale yearling mare Dottie. I am very aware that she lacks dots. But if something is rather cute, in dutch you can say 'Wat een Dotje'. And thus this one became Dottie. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Palomino stallion Dreamcatcher. I wanted some native American name for this wide looking fellow. And because I couldn't yet pronounce all the real antive names, I just decided to name him after the most popular native american item of all times. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Halfbreed stallion Drogo. Drogo is half Friesian, half Black Forrest Horse. Usually very sweet breeds both, but the moment I opened the parcel with him in I knew he was faultempered. And thus I named him after the greatest warrior in all of Essos, because this horse is a fighter to the bone. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Andalusian stallion Dwalin. The D is for Dwarf and moreso for Dwalin. I named this model after the greatest of dwarvenwarrior beause his color is so similiar to Dwalins and he looks so brave, just like Dwalin.

Time for the next letter E[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Welsh D mare Elfhilde. I initially just named it Leolyn, because I thought it was a nice enough name. But after a while I decided that this was a really cheap thing to do and I changed it in Elfhilde. Elfhilde sounds old fashioned and still very noble, which was what I wanted to achieve. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Haflinger mare Elisaveta. This horse is named after the humanification of Hungary as made in Hetalia. The reason why is a bit far fetched. In Hetalia Austria [From which Haflingers originate] was married to Hungary, which is why I named this model after her. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Appaloosa colt Eomer. The Marshall of Rohan is tthis little one's namesake. And I did this, because I thought this lad looks like he can take the lead in any adventure and be stubborn and still honorbound about nearly anything. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hanovarian gelding Esper. For his name, I literally went to the SPN wiki and picked the least special angel name in the list. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shetland mare Evelientje. Another pony from my childhood stables. I didn't particulary like her, she was very annoying. Just like this model, about everything on it icks me. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Fjord mare Eydis. She is named after one of my roleplay characters. Eydis is the daughter of Thor and Loki in one of the majors roleplays I used to have on tumblr, so I decided I'd honor her.

| It seems I'm the only on commenting here Good names again ^^ Satchmo a.k.a Esper is so beautiful. I think the name you have given is even better than his real name :3 I like also the first mare, Elfhilde - the model looks like a resculpt of Schleich's quarter mare and that's why I like her so much. _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. | Dear Emma and Jonas, thank for your support,. Here is the F! F[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]1/2 Tinker-1/2 Friesian stallion Feanor. At the time I obtained this fellow, I was reading the Silmarillion. A book even the most devoted of readers find hard to get through. I had my hardships and I still haven't finished it, but reading went increasedly fast when Tolkien told me of this Feanor fellow. The most noble and crafty of all elves. I named this repaint after him, because he looks very noble and his spots are craftily painted. He originally was the White LE Friesian, which makes him even more special to me. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Paso Fino stallion FF Vincent Valentine. All of you Final Fantasy fans will know immideately why I named this model after FF VII's true hero. The red fur and the black mane are the perfect transsion from dark brooding emo king to magnificent equine. And the whites in this model are to signify his age, wisdom and trauma. I also jokingly tell my boyfriend sometimes this model is him, my boyfriend is also called Vincent, but he is not half as handsome as this fella over here . [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shire colt Fili. Is it obviouse I got him after I watched the Hobbit for the somanyest time? I did it because I found our Dean O'Gorman was one of the smallest of the cast and actually the smallest member of Thorins company. Then I thought, he has to compensate somwhere, doesn't he. And so I turned this colt into a Fili! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tinker mare Fina. Time for a boring one again. Fina is named so because Serafina had been buzzing through my head first, but then I discovered her rider is named Sera. Serafina-Sera=Fina. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Halfinger stallion Finrod. I literally opened the index pages and named him after the first male elf I saw. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lipizanner filly Folara. Has anyone of you ever read the Earth Children books by Jean M Auel? If not, you should. It is a great story and inspired me on quite a few names. I named this little filly after Jonadalars happy little sister who is always the cherryest of the bunch. The dark bay makes this filly look very happy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]TWH mare Freya. I named quite some of my recent schleichers after gods and especially after Norse Deities. Freya is the godess of love and lust and also of fertility, although she shares that part with her brother Freyr. This model is very pretty and sweet looking, like how Freya is described in the poetic eda verses. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Marbacher colt Frodo. I simply gave him this name because the Hobbit quartet needed to be completed. That was the F, I'll see you guys at the G-spot! |

New arrivals means an interuption of the normal procedure! Here for you, today, Aegon and Dacey!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Icelandic Pony mare Dacey. Seeing how the OF's are both named afte ryoung GoT characters, I wanted this couple to have GoT names as well. The stallion was of course dead easy, but then this mare was a little harder. I needed her to be out of a family with a bit of a brown aura, but not a Stark, so the next best thing was the Mormonth family. Dacey was the only name I found fitting, because all the other names are too high class. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Icelandic Pony stallion Aegon. A white one, so a Targaryen. This lovely and fierce little man will of course be named after the young dragon, the conquerer.

DA G-SPOT IS OVAH HERE G[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tinker stallion Gabriel. Look familiar, well this guy used to be a Black Forrest stallion. But he had his fur done and now he is this handsome steed. He is one of my first repaints. My real first was Sam and I figured no Sam without Gabriel. Which is why I named this big fellow after a tiny Arch Angel. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lippizaner mare Galardiel. The beautiful lady of Loriën is the namesake of this model because I was in a LotR fit and I thought this mare was pretty enough to be Cate Blancetts horse, k. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Riding pony gelding Gandalf. What other name could I have given to this old and grey and wise little fellow? That is right, none! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Quarter Horse stallion Genesis. The second of the great Final Fantasy VII trio, this fellow is named after Genesis Raphsodos. Primarily for his color, but also because Angeal is a western horse as well, so I figured Genesis would be too. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shire gelding Gijs. My parents are not pleased with my hobby, to say it lightly. As some kind of sniding jape I called this one after my father. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pinto mare Gillian. I wanted Angeals mate to also have a FF VII name, but there was no female character I shipped him with, so I lamely named her after his mother. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pony gelding Gimli. It is sturdy and a chestnutty brown in color. I couldn't do anything but call it Gimli, because this thing here legitly looks like a dwarf. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Clydesdale gelding Gloín. Oh another dwarf, how nice. This time I choose to name the horse because I think it resembles the actor. The sturdy yet sweet looking Peter Hambleton is captured quite nicely in this model. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lippizaner mare Golvenlelie. The translation of her name is something like waving lily. I named her so for a character in a book I was reading about harems and a lot of these harem ladies antheir slaves have very intruiging names. I called this mare after a mute slave man, but I just thought the name sounded fairytaleish and I think Lippi's always have something fairytaleish. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Dartmoor mare Gozer. Gozer is dutch for dude and the moment I saw this one I thought she was a hippy and a male, so Dude seemed appropriate, but at the time one guy in our friendgroup was also nicknamed dude, but this model does not resemble him at all, so I decided to name it Gozer istead. When I discovered this is a mare, I just left it the way it was.
