| Why are they there? What's their point? How do they function? Has anyone ever utilized them? Thanks. Just curious. |

My guess is that non-registered users send messages to registered users? I don't know. :/ |

Maybe Roger could delete it and put something new up? Like maybe a mini-blog or something? |

| Visitor messages are somewhat like social networks, Facebook and so. It is a kind of profile wall where you can choose who can post messages. You can set it under your profile preferences. I know it is not very useful in this kind of forum once we are a family and not a community broken in pieces. I can deactivate it if you want but some of you have messages in your profile and probably most of you never noticed it. It also happened with me, I have some that I always replied very late. Some people is using it as private messages. To see if you have any visitor message just click in your profile name and then in visitor messages. You can reply or delete. |

| I can see that would be very helpful if someone's PM inbox is full and they don't realize it. I seem to always have a full box. |

It could be a good idea indeed, though, people have to check, under profile/notifications the option to be notified about new profile messages. Don't forget to use the savebox to keep these messages that you don't want to delete or are pending, then you can performe a full deletion in your inbox. I also keep deleting private messages, there is only storage to 50. :) |
