| Hi all
This is my first time posting here, so apologies if I've posted in the wrong place.
I've been building up my collection of mammal figures - one of each species - for a few years now, and have recently gone past 150 different species. The pride of them all, for me, is the antelope family - some wonderful figures.
I was wondering how many different antelope species have been made so far by the main brands (or even the less well-known ones). So far I have 13 (Giant eland, Waterbuck, Greater kudu, Lesser kudu, Sable, Scimitar oryx, Arabian oryx, Thomson's gazelle, Springbok, Mountain nyala, Blue wildebeest, Black wildebeest and Blackbuck). I'm pretty sure there was a Gemsbok from Schleich a while ago, too, which with the Chiru from Collecta next year makes 15.
Have any other species been made that are comparable in quality to the 15 I've mentioned? Dik-diks or Duikers? It would be surprising if no-one had made an Impala. Addax would make a great addition to the line-up, and I'd simply love a good Hartebeest.
All information gratefully received.

| Noah's Pals made an Impala set. You can still find them on eBay. They also made a Mountain Nyala set and a Roan Set.
It's not a toy, but Kaiyodo "museum" line model of the Bongo is really lovely. One of my favorites.
Oh, and Welcome! |

| Vintage but acceptable is bongo antelope from Starlux WWF set, excellent are both impala male and female made by Jeol (all M 1:32), nice is the Preiser Grant antelope (slightly larger scale). Banded duiker was made by Play Visions. |

| Many thanks to all for the welcome and the excellent information. If the main brands were to pick up on some of those antelopes you mentioned by other brands - such as bongo, hartebeest, impala, duiker - I'm sure they'd be very popular.
My thanks again.

| There is one impala currently available in toy market, produced by the brand Tip Toi Revensburger, check this topic, you will find it on a page 2 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Also, perhaps you are interested in checking also limited edition homemade antelopes from Likaon shop? You wil find there Kongoni, Sitatunga, Addax, Chiru and Scimitar Oryx and probably more antelopes in future.
