| Willy, I don't want to explain you nothing about animals, you have a long history as collector! But this leopard even with strange painting is clearly a leopard. See for example, the very long tail, too long for a jag and jaguars are darker inside of the black marks! It is some bodybuilt like a jag but you can easily see the shape of the skeleton like in a leopard! About the gorilla a young gorilla is a nice optionthinking in a sub-adulte simce CollectA has a gorilla baby! BTW Nicole was obsessed by Papo Mothers with cubs and she doesn't wanted the adulte gorilla because it was not able to carry the baby in its mouth! So she gaves a new mother to the gorilla baby! Fortunately I still have an old pic of it, the mother is the Bullyland giganatosaurus! I love Nicole's sense of humour! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Congratulations for nice new figures Willy! I'm not sure about species of both "raccoons", the first one could be ring tail and the other one is rather similar to raccoon dog, isn't it? :) |

| Subject: Some AH WWF Models and a Corgi Toys Model came in last week... Sat Feb 26, 2011 2:27 pm | |
| I think it was thursday, that i had this little lot coming in. I paid only a few euro's for it, so that is nice. These are models made for the Dutch Supermarket Albert Heijn(AH), in their WWF series. I have quit a few of them, including these birds. But as i knew that my good friend Christophe liked them, i did quickly catch them. The green frog with broken legg is for myself, as i missed him in this series. There is a toco toucan included in this deal to, but the seller forgot to pack him, so this will follow later, and i will put a pic of my own here to see him. The rhino is from a Safari-set from Corgi Toys in the 1960's. Good for me, that i have pictured many many models in my head, so i quickly recognize them when i see them. Here are some pics: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The whole lot. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]AH WWF African Fishing Eagle. | That is a very cool toy set with the VW and the rhino. When I was 10 years old on my birthday I received a safari jeep with a rhino but I do not remember the brand. It quickly became my favorite toy. |

| Subject: Diverse New Items from different makers came in for March 2011... Thu Mar 31, 2011 11:03 pm | |
| In several different lots, i had the same difference in models and makers coming in in march. Here are all the pics, which i didn't show in the other categories. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Made in China, a little bit odd, but he is a big guy who loves bananas! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Made in China, quit reasonable... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Made in China, a copy of the AAA model from China, which was made in former Schleich series to. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Made in China, the one in front is new, so another variation. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Made in China, a freshwater turtle, not bad at all. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Also made in China, and not very accurate, but for that he is a lot of fun, as he is movable, and makes sounds... When you push down the head, you hear the roar of a lion first, at the second time, you hear the sound of a zebra which is afraid and is warning for predators, very realistic sounds! I did put it on youtube specially for you guys, here is the link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Here are some other models from different makers i had in to. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]McDonalds white Tiger, which i already had in this colour, and i orange, but this one was slightly better, so i have one for the trade, made in Macau. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Polarbear, made by K&M-Wild Republic, China. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]African Elephant, quit a big guy, Tom Major(TM), made in China. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Also Tom Major, the left one is a new variation to me. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A huge giraffe, from Tom Major also. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tom Major Lions, the one on the left is a new variation for me. I only keep significant variations...
