Congratulations Ron. I think my favourite out of this years dinos is the new velociraptor, so detailed. Did you get the Plesiosaurus as well?

Thanks Harriet. Yeah, I have it too but haven't taken any pictures yet. You are right, the new Velociraptor is the best in this batch. And I can't wait to put up this new Velociraptor next to the other older one. But it will only happen in January next year. Initially, I thought I can only get these four by Christmas season but because of the Tigress and a cub, I decided to buy them too to make the S&H more worth it.

Oh, is it? I spent 22 Euros for the Tigress with a cub together with the four Dinos to be sent here in Singapore. With the current Euro's exchange rate, I believe I didn't spend too much for them. It's like I spent a total of 49+ Euros all together for these 5 figures in which I consider a cheap buy for me. And one more thing, I received the goods without paying them first. In fact I haven't sent my payment yet. Her practice is sending the goods first and receive the payment later. Which really surprises me up to now. How can a seller trust to deliver the goods without securing payment first? It's too risky, I believed. But then, she doesn't have to worry about me because I am not going to cheat her.

I find it strange during the second order or maybe is their part of culture and same practices applied on their subway systems. another things their figure have no problems on scratch & able to stand properly.

I only bought the pachyrhinnosaurus from this set because I couldn't resist...

About the raptor I am on the feathered side of the force so... The same for the oviraptor

I'm still very ill at ease with the Papo's prehistoric animals. IMHO they have one of the most talented sculptor but the lack of accuracy is incredible.
I always think about the child who will play with that oviraptor and think that it was an egg thieves or that pteranodon with teeth
I love their rhinoman or tigerman because they are fantasy creatures but I prefer more serious dino .

Yeah, as far as this year's collection is concern for me, I would say it's a nice year for me. No more retired figures hunting but more of a new releases. Basically, I almost got everything that I have wanted this year except for some of the CollectA figures in which I am still waiting since according to the seller, some of the items that I have ordered are can't be shipped yet because it's still out of stock. As for the Schleich, I am only waiting for the five new Elves creatures to be released in September. For Papo, maybe the Doe and the Fawn and some birds from the Safari Ltd's Wings of the World. Then, that's it for me this year.

You have mentioned the Papo's dinos, I only like the three except the Elasmosaurus. But since my S&H won't be changed anymore. So, I just added the fourth one just to complete the series. Seriously, getting these four dinos are not in my plan yet. Because I thought I will only get them some time in December. And since the Tigress is already out and I don't have anything to add anymore to maximize my S&H. So, I decided why not include these four Dinos now.


Well, I am not very particular about the details. As long as I like it and it's nice, I don't mind to add them. When it comes to the dinos, I am more of the looks rather than the scientific facts.

And I also agree that the Papo's Fantasy series and their Knights itself are one of the best in the toy industries. I have witness how detailed their toys are. But simply cannot finance everything. So, I am happy and already satisfied with my Schleich Elves.

Luckily, I don't have any problem with her. Not only that. I still find that their S&H is cheaper than US (of course since the Euro is not so expensive these days) and delivery is much faster as well.

Looks like you could repaint the doe and fawn as female impalas? Although a deer figure, body and head type looks kind of "antelopish".

The close up of the female's head realy resembles an impala!

you have to lump up with the reality, that you are a old man, even tough i´m younger than you. I will be grandfather in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

See now with a little paint, our hoof stock collector's can happily make a custom impala : ) Perhaps some clay could be used to make horns for a proud daddy!
