| Uintatherium is an ancient genus of plant-eating mammals who lived in China and North America during the Eocene, 52–37Mya. I said Genus... Not Genius, this animal had a very very small brain for a mammal Ok but they were at least as big as a rhino, so don't laugh too much The Uintatherium and the Eobasilus were Dinoceratans "terrible horned" and they were famous for their paired horns and tusk-like canine teeth. In the Toy history, a few Dinoceratans were produced: PlayVisions made two Eobasilus. Yolanda (Spain), JaRu (China) and Tootsie Toys (USA) made Uintatherium. Geoworld joined the club in 2014 with an Eobasilus too. But now,, it is time to talk about The Starlux one, the Uintatherium of my youth When you take a look at Charles Knight and Zdenek Burian drawings, there is not even a little doubt about Starlux's inspiration And now a few pics of this Bulky guy

| Once more, Starlux is the collection of my dreams although I don't collect Starlux. One day I'll do it. Figures like these make me love a lot this brand, not only because of the sculpts of manufacturing but because of the richness of their collections. I am still trying to find the difference between the genus macaca and the genius macaque! |

| Lovely model... I have nothing with dinosaurs, but i love the ancient mammals. Those old Starlux and other French brands are highly sought after, special the rare ones, but who am i telling that? I want to complete my Starlux zoo-animals from the normal series first, and the WWf animals, after that i might concentrate on those "antique" mammals, in both sences of the word... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
