| Hello, I found 4 figures from a set of 6, of caveman model by Louis Marx company. This is the link, where you can see them..with some info: http://marxwildwest.com/prehistoric.html#6_inch_figures Now, as far as I know, my figures are made in Russia and maybe they are russian copies of Marx...but they are also vintage. In Russia, they made many copies from Marx, with very good quality of material and details. The matirial is hard plastic. Ok..now some photos: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]for size..together with Mojo black bear : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I`m happy with them. They look realy nice, with great details.. and vintage look :) I hope you like them too.. But becouse they are not original Marx...if they are on wrong section, please help me to move it on right place |

| Great set Costa, it is a nice addition for a Cavemen figures collection. I imagine the size of the mammoth Is Russia making a lot of Marx knocks off? |

| Those are very interesting models ! Quite different from the usual cave-men models, these look like Greek athletes Also the history behind their origin ! They are so neatly made, when comparing to the Plaho-models, which are charming, but rather sloppily made. Fantastic find !!! Congratulations, Kosta Thankyou for the great photos |

Fantastic find !!! Congratulations, Kosta Thankyou for the great photos Yeah, you are right Susanne, with this anatomy, they realy look like greek athletes :) I realy like the style of Marx for human models. They made so many and diferent soldiers... and I`m not so much in to soldiers models, but watching them, I realy like it. :) But cavemen models I like a lot..and I`m trying to find these 2 in the set, which I`m missing.. :) |

| Impressive group of cave men! I didn't know that Marx worked in 6 inches. It is a quite large size but every single piece looks really great! Poor Mojo, it looks like a miniature black bear getting ready to be served as a meal! |

| He was a sculptor long time ago, not lucky enough to join our forum And here is his most famous work, I think if he would have chosen to sculpt some more rare species it would be awesome too [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Very well Kosta. As you understood, it wasn't me who changed your link. Now I can see that there are several large sized Marx figures. By the way, we have a Greek member that was active some time ago and that keeps visiting our forum. He is Vasilis and you can see his Greek sculptures here! |

Hey, what do you think, can I show now them on Prehistoric mammals topic ? ...I`m asking, becouse now I`m not shure, what we desided ? :) Prehistoric humans are also prehistoric mammals but the topic developed withtout them, so I think it is better not to put them on SUY! Maybe, one day, we have a caveman topic! |
