Some new older models in Susanne's collection :-)

For christmas I wished for a good book about whales and dolphins, but Santa decided to give me other nice stuff
So I found this one second hand on Amazone, and it had very good reviews, so  ....

There are lots and lots of great photos in the book, and the one below always makes me smile

So when I saw that Safari had made a Pacific white-sided dolphin, and I saw it for sale on Ebay.de, I could almost not believe my luck

Even the TAG is nice

Almost all models of dolphins are the gret, bottle nosed one , thanks to Flipper, I suppose  
Only Maya & Borges have Dolphin with colours,  the Common Short-beaked dolpin, - aren't they neat together ?

The same Ebay-seller had several other nice, retired models. And I just could not resist

The kaskelot in the nice, retired, dark colour

Now my baby-kaskelot has got a real mom :

Untill now the baby had a light grey parent, - he happily let go of his foster child  
Here the baby shielded by the two adults

A few pictures of the baby, even if I have had him for some time. Isn't he cute ?

Even if I already have one, I also got a baby sea turtle

And, YESSS!!!!  As I thought, the new one is a variation  
The dark one comes from a paly set "Fins and Flippers..."

A look at their bellies reviels that the new one is marked 2013, while the dark one has no year, but comes from a set marked 2008 !!!!

And then the old Apatosaurus, - in a BROWN variation

Here he is meeting his older, red family.....
...and they became so happy that they began to dance

The models ( the later African animals ) from the Authentic series.
They are not new to me, but I have never seen the boxed set in real before

The last variation is from a small zoo that I visited some weeks ago.
There was a basket with a few kinds of Safari models crammed into a basket, - and when I saw this chimp-baby ( to the right), I just had to take him home

It's a wonder you manage to find models you still don't have! Congrats!

Susanne, such great additions. So many nice walk arounds in a single topic, don't be shy... they deserved their own topic, I guess!
Oh, I love all of them, mainly dolphins and delicious comparison picture with the M&B friend.

OK, I can see that chimps are clearly dancing Hip Hop, tey are modern creatures and youngsters and that right hand position is typical. But what style are very old apatosaurus peforming?
