I have 4 well mannered cats then. Never did they chew, trow, shove or play with my animals.
But I think they know when they turn their head toward my desk, I will hawk-eye them until they get something else in their mind XD
The fun thing about a curious dog is, when I get a package, Gaell will sit next to me to watch me unpack it. I show him every animal I unpack and he loves to sit and watch. He sniffs the animal and something wags his tail when I'm very enthusiastic about an animal.

A boyfriend on the other hand... He had a little game for himself called: When does Karin notice that I replaced a single animal. Back then I didn't always look at my animals. But since I found a cat among my horses and a wolf among my African wild life I look more often. Laughing
Haha, funny Very Happy
Once my friend bought a big wolf figurine with a natural fur for me, and everytime when his setter was seeing this wolf, he (I mean dog) look at wolf thinking: «Who are you?», «Why don't you move?» XD
You know, I have two Sideshow timber wolves with mobile body parts, and once I took them to the village. My relatives took with them their chichuachua. Dog was SO scared XD

I find it very interesting how pets (or other animals) react to their model counterparts.
Haha, Chihuahua doggies aren't that big, so I can imagine the fear he had for those big wolves (which are awesome btw!). Poor dog XD
I also had the video in that day Very Happy

I've had very good dogs, other than when they were puppies they never bothered things. Even when they were puppies usually. The cats, on the other hand, have always been very destructive. Nothing is sacred. It's almost like they watched for the things that meant the most to you, and those were the ones they sought out for destruction. Everything on the floor, and sometimes they chew also. Things no dog ever had any access to and can't be blamed for. So anything breakable that you value must be behind closed doors or packed away safe.

Laughing @ Gaell's and poor Chihuahua's reactions. I have had many dogs react with suspicion and even fear to my Windstone dragons, until you get them to sniff them and they realize they're not real. Then they ignore them hah.

No kids ever at my house.
The figures are upstairs in my study/home-office, in the famous glass cabinet, safely behind doors.
Only sometimes when i have a visitor, who i think might be interesed, i show the collection.
Like the friend who stole those Japanese wooden bears from his aunt, for me, he always asks Can i see your bears please, when he is visiting.
Not even the cleaning lady is allowed to clean the cabinet, nor touch any animals laying on my desk or photo set-up for handling, pictures, description etc etc.

Sometimes i tell people or sellers at markets about my collection.
That no one at home is alowed to touch the cabinet of animals.
Not even my kids.
exclamation
And when daddy sees little fingerprints on the glass doors he knows one of the boys has been in daddy's room again.
affraid
No No No. Evil or Very Mad
Then they both get punishment by being grounded to the washing/ironing room for certain period of time.
The funny thing is how people feel sooooo sorry for those little rats.
Laughing
To make clear I dont have children.
lol!

^^^ funny stories people. Laughing

these days i dont let family members touch my figures, unless im showing off a new acquisition. dogs are not allowed inside the room where all the collectibles are kept. i dont have a cat nowadays, but when i get one, it wont even see the interiors of that particular room.

He is not mine, but belongs to my brother and her girlfriend. And yeah, he is so brave, always protect his owner Very Happy
Don't worry about him, he is ok and feels good indeed. I also showed him the wolf with closed mouth and, of course, let Chang (this is the name of dog) to sniff them, but they didn't became friends!

I don´t have children here at home, and my dog (a small Yorkshire Terrier) never, and I mean NEVER, touched in any figures of mine, not even when she was still a puppy (pens and pencils, on the other hand, she loved to steal when she was younger). So yeah, not much of a problem, as I also very rarely get visitors.

The only kid who I am around most frequently (and even then it is quite uncommon to have her at my house) is my little cousin. But she doesn´t touch my Schleich dinosaurs and fantasy figures because they scare her (I didn´t help, I told her that the "big lizards" bite. Laughing)

If I had to deal with a lot of kids, I would just lock my bedroom. Sorry, no touchy-hands allowed. I am paranoid around adults near my stuff, let alone kids.
