Eikoh 'Miniatureplanet' Spotted seal walkaround

Ladies and gentlemen, I guess Eikoh is known a bit on STS because of a magnificent bonzai of the Phat shoebill and a few well made small copies of other brands' models.

Today, I want to show you a very nice Spotted seal toy. It may let you think about Safari Ltd Harp seal but it is enough different I think.

I like the nice proportions, the painting and small details like the earholes. The scale is between 1/21 and 1/32.

Spotted seals inhabit arctic or sub-arctic waters, often in the outer areas of ice floes during the breeding season. They tend not to live within dense drift ice. In the summer months they live in the open ocean or on nearby shores.
The spotted seal has a relatively small body and short flippers extending behind the body that provide thrust, while the small flippers in front act as rudders. The dense fur varies in color from silver to gray and white and is characterized by dark, irregular spots against the lighter background and covering the entire body. Males and females differ little in size or shape. (Thanks Wikipedia)

Great to see another walk around of an Eikoh figure! I have the shoebill and prairie dog and there are some more I want as it is the case of the seven-banded armadillo. Eikoh is a very good alternative to other Japanese companies, mainly to those that are more used to an "Western" design. No cowboys, of course. :)

Nice seal for sure but I am unable see any photo
I am still running W2k+Presto based Opera...

I am using the same method for years now, Photobucket.

Do you have problems watching other pics? Only mine? Only these ones?

Hmmm....  Something is definitely wrong. WXP+Presto on another machine - the same result. I see no STS banner in header, no status icons on the main STS page, no images uploaded by you. I see only avatars (incl. yours), smilies and forum graphic (buttons). Before last weekend all works fine on the same configuration... Is anybody else using Presto here?

As far as I know Opera is leaving Presto for Webkit (used with Safari, google, comodo, chromium). I guess Presto is the problem.
