| During summer, I got some Schleich additions. In June, I got Vietnamese Pot Bellied pig: She is lovely, I definitely need more pigs, especially the 2015 sow and piglet, to enlarge my pig family In July, I visit some museums and galleries in Vienna (including Spanish riding school) and was luckily able to find Horse Club magazine with black Trakehner foal: She is my first on this mold, I like her. I bought her exactly the day of my birthday, so kinda gift to myself (well every model is gift to myself). She is not just black... As she has (very proper) marking on her forehead and grey patch in her mane: The patch maybe doesn't look very realistic, but it's based on a real foal, there is a reference photo of it in the magazine. It's my fourth exclusive foal from Vienna from 7 in total, I hope I get more of them. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta

| Good evening, I'm late with sharing my additions - around the middle of August, I bought 13606 Haflinger mare via facebook group for collectors, as a mother for the lying down Haflinger foal. I've always like the mold - good representant of the breed - but was never convinced due to paintwork. This one wasn't painted very properly and had even scratches... So I've sent her to my favourite model horse artist to improve her. And she absolutely nailed it! I'm super excited about the result. I want the artist to make a rich chestnut with a very light mane and a "pangaré" effect - dark back and light belly. So my Haflinger filly has a mother, finally. I think they're very much like, even though the dam is custom, while the filly is OF, they're both dark with similar eyes. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| That Haflinger ended very beautiful and your pictures surely give justice to it. I love the dark back. It also shows that Schleich did very well in a not very distant past. :) |

Thank you, Roger. Yep, horses around 2005 prove, that Schleich did very well in that time. And I guess these horses are both nice toys and good models representing various breeds well, I don't understand why they stopped following this direction... _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| Hi, finally find some time to share my other additions from summer... The Haflinger mare from previous post wasn't the last Haflinger in my collection - Yvette helped me to get the colt from Horse Club magazine together with Mojo grazing Fjord and Bella Rose (the second). Well I'm not a fan of this mold, his "smile" makes him looking too cartoony and I don't like the foreleg elongated to touch the ground... But he is cute from frontal view and his soft delightful colour is very nice - just thanks to the colour he earned a ribbon on his first model horse show where he won foal class in "rubber" division. Now I need a mother for him, I was thinking about the mare from 2013, as I don't like the current one, but she is not available at all. Together with him another special horse arrived, or rather special set. I have drawn Yvette's dog Balu cause I'm really grateful for all the amazing model she helped to get. And she was so excited about the drawing she sent me the Marbacher set as a gift! I coulnd't believe it. Handsome Black Forest/Schwarzwälder stallion... ...with handsome young stableman in uniform typical for Principal and State Stud Marbach. I really like the package with a photo of statue of broodmare and foal: The set was created for 500th anniversary of Marbach stud and as far as I know it was available only at the event. So it is special set, and it is definitely special gift for me, I guess I will never "unpack" it and let it displayed as it is. It is on the top shelf of my display together with my Valegros, Breyer companion animals and alebrije figure from Mexico that I got from a friend. (sorry, this photo is not good, light wasn't ideal and Im not good at taking photos of more than few models). _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| I believe the Haflinger colt has some symbolism. He is obviously smiling because he representes the kindness of our Yvette and he is surely happy of being with you. Then, its extended right foreleg is clearly a mention to Yvette's generousness. It is like extending so much our hand to give something that it will look longer than the hand is resting. Your pictures are really glamorous and that gift from Yvette, considering the kind of collector you are, is just something from another world. |

| Dear Roger, thank you very much for those beautiful words! I didn't realize such a symbolism the colt could have. But it's nice to see something behind the model. And yes, the Marbach set is like something from another world... | Greetings in new year, I hope it has started well for everyone. There are still some additions from last year remaining to share. In September I got benefit discount at my local toy store. It was nice and I wanted to buy the current Friesian mare or the Haflinger mare from 2013 as mothers for foals from Horse Club magazines. But they had none of those two. So I have bought 2017 Hanoverian mare. I chose her just because there was nothing that would catch my eye more. Her conformation is bad. The forelegs are way too forward, muscle definition is strange. She looks kinda stiff. But I like the colour, proper black points of a bay horse, though there is quite disturbing shading circle on her shoulder. I like that her neck isn't too long as we can see on most of recent Schleich horses. Also her eyes, still being big, aren't too flat and have an expression, quite vital. I have absolutely nothing about traditional show brading, I actually quite like it, but I don't understand why her braids are pointing upwards. And the pink ribbons make the overall appearance very girly. From this side the head seem to me to be attached to the neck in strange unnatural way. I'm not very pleased with this model, Hanoverians are one of my favourite breeds, I was quite disappointed when I saw first pictures of new Hanoverians. I have the three previous mare, it is interesting to watch the evolution of that particular horse, and maybe kinda sad. I will share a comparison later. The fence behind her is from Schleich Dressage arena I bought from a collector in November, it was for very good price and it is in box and complete, with all parts. Next summer I will take some outdoor dressage photos with it together with Schleich Dressage Hanoverian and set: and even more realistic with CollectA Hanoverian mare, Bullyland rider and handmade dressage tack: _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| You are presenting a very interesting review of this Hanoverian horse. I believe, if you ever show the Hanoverian evolution picture, we will see how previous releases were much better. Nice presentation and thanks for sharing. |

| Hello my dear followers, there are some of my other addition from autumn, cause I got not only the dressage arena in November. I visited Berlin, it was my second stay there, it was in time when new "Sonderheft Fohlen" were released with reissue of Andalusian or Camargue foal. I already had the Andalusian, so was looking for the Camargue. I had to try it in about 6 newspaper shop to finally pick it. I like its soft creamy colour, but paintwork isn't the best, the eyes are quite overfilled. Recently I discovered this nice background on a wall in nearby park, where you can take nice photos without lying down in mud or snow, but it was demolished this week, so I had to find new place for outdoor winter photos... I have also the regular one, here is small inside comparison. Can't say which one I like more, the Exclusive has nice soft colour and nicer muzzle, while the eyes on regular one are not that big. I got another pony from Berlin: Mini Shetty stallion, my first rearing mold. Some of you has maybe already seen him in Schleich models made in different countries, as I could chose from three variants. This one is made in Germany and I picked it because of the best muzzle shading. Here are all my shetlands by Schleich, but I have to update with the grey one from magazine. Not very good photo at all, I know. Here are three males of them, in unusual colours: from left Kerswell Cavalier (named after real blue roan Shetland), Kerswell Caramel (I guess this variant is palomino?) and Kerswell Mannequin (the name means "little man" what is perfect as he is really small and is standing on hindlegs). What colour is the rearing one supposed to be? Buttermilk buckskin on some combo of buckskin and dun? But he has no dorsal stripe, so I go with buttermilk buckskin. And on 1st of December I bought this lovely calf in local toystore, they still have some retired figures: I call it Fluffy, she is my first Highland, I always admire this breed. With this calf I'm slowly getting to my December additons, stay tuned _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta

| Surely your additions are all interesting but, the way you present them is very beautiful! These are really good photographs and it is a pity that they demolished that wall, it surely was perfect to take outdoor pics. Looking forward to see what other additions this cute calf influenced you to. |

| Gosh, it is a long time I enjoyed your wonderful photos Let me go back to the repainted Haflinger-mom and her foal. That mare is fantastic, and her glossy summer coat fits extremely well to the more fuzzy fur of her young foal, lying in the green grass The other ones that catch my eye is the dressage riders and the arena ! I adore the old Schleich rider - set, but the set you made with the CollectA horse, Bully lady, and hand made tack is out of this world Congratulations with all those "Specials" !!! And thankyou for the lovely photos ! They make it such a joy to watch your models...not to forget the little, furry calf standing in winter grass up to his sturdy, little calf-knees _________________ SUSANNE |

| Thank you very much Julie and Roger! Yeah, it's a shame they demolished it, I hope I find something similar. As for the calf, I would like to get her a mum, but it definitely inspired me to get more calves and arrange little kindergarten for calves _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |
