Yes, you're right, I didn't realised it before, but it seems like his big head pulls him forward. For me it was always like the head and neck is from one horse, and the rest of body from another. But he is definitely beautiful. I don't have the 13667 one, but there is a great comparison by Jetty https://sts-forum.forumieren.de/t14670-the-new-friesian-stallion-from-schleich where you can see the differences. The regular one is more like baroque type and this new exclusive is modern sporthorse type I supposed. Also the paintwork is different. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta

Thank you. The old appy stallion is actually one of my favourites, he was my first warmblood ;-) _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| Hello, I was so busy lately, I didn't post my last, very good catch - the old 13227 Hanoverian mare in a very nice condition. I was so happy. She's not perfect sculpt (her eyes pointing too forward for a horse, they should be more on sides of the head), but definitely has a vintage charm. She was introduced in 1995, so she is my oldest horse (but I'm not sure in which year the previous owner purchased her. I quess around 2000). Here she is: She definitely looks like old, calm broodmare, I think she could be perfect adoptive mother for my Holsteiner orphan, they look nice togehter: And finally evolution of the Hanoverian mares, and all my Hanoverians. As they became my favourite breed, I'm so happy I could add this old one to the family. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| Such a lovely horse, congratulations! I was very lucky with this particular horse: I found it new (with tag) in my local Schleich/Papo shop a few years back, years after it was retired. Now I'm still looking for the white variation! |

| Thank you, Andreas, Julie and Rakel :-)
Such a luck, to find her new with tag in a store, Julie. I could see some really old cows, pigs and dogs in stores, but not so many old horses. Good luck with the white variant, I would be also pleased with her, but that brown one was my priority. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| Hello, after few weeks of break, I got new addition - Hereford bull. I always like this mold and the Hereford coat suites him better for me. (But I'm not a cattle expert, so I don't know if he has a right body form for this breed). As he is going to be retired next year and as I found only one store (among six) selling him I decided to buy him. So I have a novelty and a retired model at the same time. He is my first bull. He is so detailed and well scuplted. I like the wrinkles on the neck and the curly fur on his head. Paintwork is nice, soft shading, no rubs. But he is much lighter than the promo one. He should be darker and more reddish, he is actually light brown. I would also appreciate a bit of cream/yellow on his head. It would be more natural. (But maybe he is clean and ready for show ) Last thing that bothers me a bit - overfilled eyes, what make them bigger. But after all, very nice model and I'm definitely happy that I got him. Here he is joining my small herd of cows (they don't look exited at all). I'm sad that the Hereford cow is available only in USA. I expected they release her next year also in Europe, but they won't. And the new Herefords aren't Herefords. They don't have correct pattern. So he will probably never be a sire... _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| As long as you like your bull, it is always a good addition. I think the mold is quite acceptable to the breed but certainly other members more familiar with this matter can help you better. Isn't it somewhat frustrating that with so many cows, the only bull cannot be a sire? |

| Thank you, Roger and Andreas :-) The situation with the cow is quite frustrating, but there is a small chance to get her.. One of my friends is travelling to New York in January or February, I'm gonna to ask her to bring the cow (and calf). _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| Hello, I hope you all had spent nice Christmas with lot of additions under the Christmas tree. I got one from my sister - Haflinger foal lying down. When I realized it's gonna be retired in 2016, I put it to my wishlist. But I couldn't find even one in 9 shops in 3 cities. Luckily, my sister has a friend, who runs a toy store in our hometown and she asked her to order it just from toy supplier. So I found this lovely filly (it has no gender, for me it's a filly) under our Christmas tree. She was in original bag from factory, thanks to it she is in perfect condition, but surprisly without Schleich tag. I like her natural pose, and lot of details - wrinkles on the neck, ears pointing backwards, realistic eyes (brown with black horizontal pupils), snip and two coloured hoofs. Paintojob is very well done, I only don't get why the whole muzzle is glossy. She was made in Germany in August 2015. For me definitely one of the best Schelich foals. This year was rich in extra foals - extraordinary poses (grazing Arabian, suckling Knabstrupper, lying Haflinger), extra Bayla foal and one old and rare. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

Funny, - I just checked mine ( also made in Germany ), and she has round pupils
You are right, it is an adoreable foal. This one and the "new baby" 13699 are some of the cutest, nicest foals that Schleich has made Thanky you, Susanne. I also like reviews or photos of older ones, it reminds me pleasure of having them in the collection or make me add them to wishlist. I always thought her eyes are brown with round pupils, but surprisly mine has oval pupils. :-) The "new baby" is also very cute! But I like the lying one more ;-) _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| Hello, at the begging of January, I found an advertisement with one of my Schleich holy grail - the Holsteiner mare (variant from wagon set from Indian world.) The seller didn't sell horses individually, I had to take 4 horses, but the price was very good, and their condition is even better! Here they are: Closer photos: A beautiful Camargue mare, nice companion to my small semi-wild herd. Very nicely sculpted in unusual looking back pose. She has only two small rubs: "Big Momma" - The Percheron mare in perfect condition, with her tiny lovely colt. He is so small compared to the other drafter foals. My Percheron family is finally complete: sorry for the photo quality :/ And finally, the stunning Holsteiner mold. I didn't care if I get the regular one or this "exclusive", both are nice, I just want the sculpt. She has some small rubs, but nothing terrible. The price was about 5 € including postage, what is very good I think. I'm only confused by her colour, I thought she is supposed to be a bay, but her mane and tail are dark brown...so some type of chestnut? Or just manufacturer's mistake? Anyway, I love her So little Eclipse is no longer an orphan Now I have almost all horses I've ever wanted _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta

| Hello, after months of planning, I finally got the Poitou donkey. She is very nice, I like her fluffy fur and the expression. Mine has nice shading around muzzle. She was made in 2009, so she was waiting for years in that store. Now I have two donkeys and I'm going to buy also the Poitou baby, it's cute. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |
