Papo Mini Tub's Wild sets 2015 . Set no 2 at the bottom of this page.

For some years Papo has made wonderful mini models in sturdy metal cases.
Last year they switched to plastic tubes, a bit like the well known Safari TOOBS , containing more or less the old models except for a set with 6 dinos.
This year one more dino set is announced, and two sets of wildlife.

Here is the first wildlife "Tub"  
























I adore the lion !!! And the Elaphant is full of Papo-charm  
All in all they are extremely nice, little models

Value ( price) comparison.
At Spielzeug-guenstig Papo Tubs are app 14 Euros, while Safari Toobs are just over 10 Euros.
The TOOBs usually contain 10 - 12 models, while the Wildlife Tubs contain 6 pcs . But the quality is quite another one , think

I missed this interesting topic. I think these Papo minis have an interesting quality. However, I wished brands explored some alternative thematics in their Minis. I know Safari does it but others release always the same animals. My favorite here is by far that hippo.

Safari toobs are wonderful, but the quality of each model is nothing like these , I think ...

Perhaps that is why I fell so much in love with EIKOH . They fill in some gabs there

Yes, Eikoh is a very good example once they always mix less usual species with more common in a good balance.
Maybe this is a conceptual question. Papo's are Minis like Mojö's. So, they intend to represent smaller versions of species present in their normal range. Eikoh are small but they belong to a different concept where figures keep a certain size small range where they are the main focus of the collection. Safari TOOBS are tru tube figures, often smaller, of a lesser quality and cheaper. Concept also developed by Wild Republic and Play Visions... not exactly minis.

The next set of wild animals is now available  

This time they are not all African. There is a Tiger and an Indian rhino as well as a European Brown bear  


The cats are lovely, - after all they are made by Papo

The Cape buffalo is fine for such a little model, - but I think he has a problem breething throug his nose

Most of these Minis are really decent figures! Maybe the Indian rhino is the least interesting of this lot but giraffe and big cats are really great! Revisiting the previous Minis, I think the poor looking one is Mrs. Zebra. Papo and zebras!

Wow, I realy like the tiger...it is like the model- tigress with cub...but without the cub :)
The others are nice too...but the tiger is my top :)

I`m shure , that this is a silly question...but, is there a way, to get only the tiger from the set ?
I realy want to repaint one ... it look`s very promising :)

Oh yes, I know this place :)))) Perhaps in the future, they will sell also Papo minis there :))

Ha, ha, now I happened to look at her stuff, and just had to get a few small things, - she is very reasonable with shipping cost

Lovely additions but would agree with Roger the poor zebra and Indian rhino are not the best!
