Thank you Willy for your words and for the info. Comments of all the friend of the forum encourages me to make more figurines. For now I'm working on a black wildebeest. I hope in some weeks I will finish it :)

Seems, as you said, this rhino has a narrowed horn, but i think that the size is the same from a male sumatran rhino.

Joan, I'm using Super Sculpey, which is what you used for your rhino I think? What did you use to smooth the clay out?

Thank you for your comments about the black wildebeest, they encourages me to make it better and better :) at the moment I'm working on the sculpting yet and I'm happy enough with it cheers cheers

baltimore zoo, at the moment I'm not thinking on making apes or big cats (nor little ones Wink ) but if I change my mind I'll notice all of you.

Harriet, super Sculpey is the clay used by me too but I didn't use anything special to smooth it out, only the sculpting tools. (I'm not sure to understond your question, if i didn't anwered you ask me again :) )

Thanks Joan - yes that's what I meant. With the air drying clay I use, you can use water to smooth and soften the clay. Water also helps with attaching parts, sticking them together. But with super sculpey water doesn't work, there's some special stuff you can buy to help soften the clay up, I don't know what it's called. I wondered if you knew about it or had used it.
