| I think it is looking better now and I am glad my comment was useful although I was not able of being objective. The important is that your lion is really lloking great and as there are more lions in your project, particularly the Asiatic lion, you'll notice how some little difference, apparently not very visible, can determine a correct look to each subspecies. |

| He reminds me of Aslan, the big male lion from Narnia. He is stunning and I can't wait to see him painted _________________ ~Karin~

| Hello fellows!!! I am back to this topic. The reason why I was out these last days is because I was learning and trying to make copies of my own models, now I can customize them to appear different variations... This is the result!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now I will continue with the Felidae Family Project |

| Wow, wow, wow He looks very beautiful: those perfect details, this pose, paintwork... Wonderful But don't you think that his eyes are too big? Not really too big, I can see it very well from profile. Please, don't be offended, but his back looks a bit strange. Look at that (I made this wolf when I participate olympiad of sculpture): Sorry for photo quality, photo is taken by my phone. | No offense at all. I always appreciate your comments.
I will check the eyes size. Perhaps is not the size but emphasized by the painting
Respecting the back I tried to reflect the typical way how the cats twist the spine while lying in this posture. Canidae (dogs, wolves, foxes…) can’t do in the same way.

| Maybe about the eyes I know tht canids and felidaes are different in anatomy; but the pose of backbone and ribs is the same. The mainest difference between lion and wolf spine is width. Wolf's one is wider. You just should do this side smoother than it is now. Not as my wolf, I just showed you an example about how it works. I feel like down side of your line has not enough rib volume _________________ My shadow's the only one that walks beside me, My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating. | I think your model has nice sculpting overall with good painting but I also feel the eyes can be modified to be more realistic. I have made a quick modification to show what I mean. I think the eyes could be smaller and angled slightly at the tear ducts. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Very good. The mane in particular gives it the feel of a real lion. |
