We bought these Britains-scale cattle from John Eden as a pair of metal castings in kit form. John sells them as "Highland Cattle", but the sculptor certainly intended them to be White Park Cattle ... a breed which is rarely represented in model form.

Here they are painted.

very beautiful !!!
parkcattle I even really never seen, only read about. very nice that you're here miniatures.

It is of course difficult to say what exactly is a breed cow made. I think what that the varieties can better classify in type. I said you would classify cows in the UK natural grazers category. It would indeed fine longhorns (wales) can be.

Thanks everyone!

As we understand it, these models were originally sculpted to be sold as souvenirs at Chillingham Park, which has a famous herd of White Park cattle.

We're glad you like them!

Sorry we haven't been around much - we've been without a computer, but hope to have one again soon.

We were delighted to find these. Over the years, Lesley has made a few attempts to convert Britains' cattle into White Park Cattle, but never to her satisfaction.
