Yes, i also think this is the best mute swan. 2010? On my swan is marked 2008.
The second place is the Schleich swan with wings open. He is from 2007, so Schleich need a new one.

The Papo swan looks fat and strange, and the black one is simply a repainted mute swan, with missing white wings. Other swans have bases, and i don't like bases. For small birds, a base is ok, but not for bigger birds.

I love when old topics are revived and try to check how things changed allong all these years. :)
To be fair, nothing changed, except one thing, this glorious mute swan also continues being my favorite, it is a pure expercise of inspired talent from the sculptor. Swans are magnificent animals and it is not easy to make it look graceful when turned in a toy, though, CollectA did it.
I was then, already a CollectA enthusiast, even if it was just the ugly duckling on forum. A brand that was able of doing a figure like this one could never be ignored or chased. Now, that CollectA is a grown up company, now we all know it is not anymore a ugly duckling but a magnificent swan. Some fairy tales are widely known but their messages seem to be not always very well assimilated. study

Collecta could make the other swan species (trumpeter, whooper, black, blacknecked etc.) now, but please, no base, please.

Oh, then it must be from 2008, I only thought it's from 2010 because that's the time this topic was opened Smile
