Is there any chance of you posting a painted version of this zebra alongside a Schleich Zebra for size comparison? I am no good with scales.

Your zebra turned out wonderful- I knew the painting would bring it completely to life. Two highlights for me are the snout where the combination of texture and paint look quite convincing, and also the belly.

It's sure to be the center of many zebra gatherings, and I look forward to seeing others' interpretations of the color scheme, too.

Numaan: I would have to buy the Schleich zebra again to do that ( I have one but not here in The Netherlands, part of my collection is still in Poland). Unless the comparison with CollectA eland would be enough? Have you seen the comparison photos on the page 6? I used for example schleich horse and Papo lioness, perhaps you have these models in your collection too?

Sorry the thread is so long I looked at the first and last pages only, thanks for the pointer. On a final note do you have any Schleich hoofed wildlife animal with you to compare it against? If not dont worry but if so then please post a pic.

I am trying to figure out if the zebra is larger, the same, or smaller than the Schleich Zebra's

Hi Numaan, I will look what I have from Schleich, but really most of my schleich animals stayed in Poland. Maybe you have for example Mojo zebra? Or Mojo buffalo? Or my handmade Eland which I remember you had in the past? Just let me know and I will take the comparison photo with any of those.

I think in general this Grevy's zebra is slightly larger than Schleich zebra, because this species is also bigger than plains zebra. But I can't compare exactly.

New colour of Arabian mare: dapple grey. I think it's really difficult pattern, and I know I need to improve. But for this Arabian I think this is all what I was able to do.

She was painted with acrylics and pastels.

That's beautiful Anna, almost mystical in appearance. We are all critical of our own work and see areas to improve, but to the general observer it is incredible!
