Certainly it would not be the case - the first butterfly (certainly not a Morpho) appeared just in Eocene, no longer than 50 millions years ago, when Earth was basically the same as today, first gharial ancestors date from late Cretaceous, about 80 million years ago (still the Earth was very similar as today, except for Africa being more separated from Eurasia, Atlantic ocean being narrower and India being still isolated from Asia), and genus Gavialis appeared as late as Pliocene, about 5 million years ago.

It could be a game. Your Rocky Mountain goats is probably one of the rare occasions that a Schleich ungulate looks much better than the CollectA counterpart. Which other ungulates comparison get a similar conclusion?
