This one took a long while to get to me. I think it was back in October that I mentioned to my friend Christine (known as EG in some model horse circles ) that the lovely Papo Belgian was one of the few still in my wishlist. She happened to have one, and was kind enough to send me this beautiful boy at the cost of shipping! He took three weeks to get to me, and since parcels from the UK usually take a week, at most, to arrive, I quickly got very worried! When it finally got to me, the ladies that keep the mail (I'm living in student housing, so the mail doesn't directly get to me) almost threw a party, they were so happy it had arrived, as I stopped by every day to check if it had gotten there and we were all quite afraid it had gotten lost! But in the end, everything turned out well, and the box, which got to me last Wednesday, even included little gifts. First the Belgian... I think he was in her body box, but he is in very good condition. I'm not sure if I will paint him yet. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the gifts!! Among the packing peanuts, there was a very long, very thin strip of paper, which I took my time to unravel - halfway through it, there was a paper saying that I could finally call myself a Julip collector! And indeed... Two beautiful little Julip bunnies! Christine picked them up at the Julip Live for me, which was very kind of her. They're such sweet, tiny little models [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]She also sent some chocolate. That, sadly, I didn't take pictures of - I ate it before I could.

Haha, I know Christine too Congratulations, glad they finally arrived! It's hard enough to wait for a package you're expecting, let along if it takes longer than it should Those bunnies are super cute

Thank you everyone! Christine was very kind, indeed, I was super happy with those bunnies Oh, gosh! This is late, and I feel awful about it. I've been so busy these past few months! No time for online socialising, ahah. Roger very kindly sent me a parcel back in December... And I only had the time to take photos of the contents today! Inside it, there were not only ponies... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Mojö Fun Clydesdale; he'll look lovely with a new coat of paint :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich Percheron Mare; I was actually surprised at how lovely she is :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich Clydesdale Mare! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich Tinker Mare! One of my favourite schleich models, to be honest. But also... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A lovely little Mojö hedgehog. He's already found a place in my little collection! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Thank you Roger When I spent Christmas at my grandma's, I found these little ones hiding in a jar. Apparently they were gven out when you spent a certain amount at a supermarket. They look quite ugly at the moment, but maybe with their seams filed and filled and a new coat of paint, they'll look good. The chickens and the ducks in particular (I have two of each ) look quite promising! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
