That's ubelievable! I also searched these Appaloosa hours and hours and I never found them. They were just behind our noses! I missed the glue topic but fortunately you haven't missed it once you are the real interested in them. Who could guess these horses were glued all these years waiting for you? Wonderful, please keep the glue. The last one needed to be the Palomino foal, surely the rarest of all Safari horses, the Super-Palomino. I am really glad you are almost completing this beautiful horse series from early Safari years, I am almost sure you are the only collector of this world that got all of them. Good luck with the missing foal!

Wow, soon a complete Safari horse collection, that is very impressive! And I always love to see when a collector on here expresses the joy of obtaining something he or she has been searching for and wanting for a long time - such happiness!

Last week Spielzeugguenstig got some more of the new collectas for 2016, and I was lucky to snatch some At the same time, I could not resist some of the neat, little blister packs from Schleich The set with the black mamba, of course ! And the two sets with mini-piglets I wonder if they are mini-pot-bellied piglets ? And some bowls and a bone for the dogs [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Two beautyful dinos : The magnificent Deinocherius, and the tiny, lovely, little Struthiominus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]At long last I got the new, cantering tinker from Papo, and the elegant Black Forest horse from CollectA . Perhaps BF is too elegant, I would say he is more a like a silver dapple Rocky Mountain horse The little pony is a Safari mini, which just HAD to come along [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]WOW !!!! CollectA continues making awesome sea animals A lovely, beautyful dugong And then : Ta-daaa ! A blainville's beaked whale Beaked whales are rarely see in nature. They say in the open, and their appearances to breathe is not spectacular, so we don't see them often. Untill now I only know if the Strap-tooth whale from Happy Kin Toys. Now there is one more ! And what a beauty Thankyou, thankyou, Collecta [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A little flock of wild beauties [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now the Eland is a single father among all the other single dads Both look wonderful together, but I share their wish for a mom/wife [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But one model got both a wife and a baby : The Mojo Thylacine [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Mrs Thylacine seems to be very talkative, but Mojocine is just so totally besotted, he does not mind at all [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Yes, I think Mrs. Thylacine is angry because Father is not helping too much with the baby. Maybe because of it she looks almost like a hyaenodon. Oh, I like the CollectA thylacine a lot, maybe the sculpt is not so obssessively accurate but the open mouth, pose and baby make it look very special. I also like better these colors when compared with Mojö's. The eland calf makes a nice pair with the bull, I agree that in this case a cow is absolutly needed. It is a species that all 3 look equally wonderful. You got the nilgai, an unmissable figure for me this year as you know and the dugong and beaked whale are two other very interesting figures. Hahah, your dogs are also collectors?

Good to know, cause I was tempted to buy the calandar expensively on ebay just for the pigs. Now I can get them anyway! Cuteness overload!

Big congratulations Susanne :) I can't wait to receive mine from Modellpferdeversand, they sent them on Wednesday. They made a partial shipment because only one CollectA isn't arrived in their shop yet : the andrewsarchus ... and I put it in my preorder of early August. They should receive the andrewsarchus in October, this is what they said I'm impatient to get them, however I always an apprehension with Mojo and CollectA figures because of the "middle" painting of the first brand (I always hope there won't be "too much" defaults of paint to "correct") and CollectA because of too flexible plastic (antelopes have most of time awry legs and sometimes traces of label's elastics on the legs. It is hot this week in Belgium so I hope they won't arrive with "awry" legs in my new parcel.). Furthermore, CollectA is more difficult to recorrect because the plastic, as I said, is too flexible, so when we want to put one or more legs in warm water and then in cold water, it doesn't goes because the plastic legs resumes to their original form, which one I find hassle. Even if I underlined some bad points, I must say this year is a great one for CollectA and I can't wait to see the next ones

| Thankyou for all your kind comments, friends And now I have more to show : Today I got two parcels From MPV the fabulous Grevy's Zebra and the wonderful Shoebill from ColletA , the stunning StableMate Valegro from Breyer, and the standing meerkat from Papo, so now I have bothe of these lovely little bandits [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]AND ---- Ta-daaaaaa During this week I got several of my most intrensely wished for models from Paige All four Rodeo sets from Schleich ( !!!!! ) , and the enormously rare, first palomino-colt from Safari [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]At long last the palomino mare is no longer alone [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The tags show that mom is the oldest one ( in case you are in doubt ) . [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And it is a joy to see the folas of the same age having fun together [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I have opened the boxes of the Rodeo sets, but still have not found a long enough quiet period to sit and truely enjoy taking them out. But they are also great to watch in the boxes : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is the cowboy with his 10 years older collegue, showing an interesting development, both of the life of cowboys, and the style of Schleich models . | It is always nice to see family getting reunited. Ms. Palomino finally gets to run around with her long lost foal. (Looking at the kid's face, I'm assuming the father was some handsome Arabian stallion...LOL) The Grévy's zebra is a beautiful contribution to the animal toy collectors community. Those stripes are a nightmare for any artist to paint, I'm sure. So how they pulled this off for a mass market figure I don't know, but to me it looks like everyone's getting a glamourous figure for that price. CollectA, I can only applaud. |
