| Wonderful pictures indeed! I love insects and all the miniature world. I used to play with real insects as a kid never hurting them, of course. Praying mantis was surely my favorite insect although I also loved to play with non insects like little scorpions, centipeds, etc. When alienigene creatures are based in arthropods, I find it fascinating and it really gives me a much more "realistic" view of what it could be than when their just humanoids. :) |

| Thank you Roger!
Praying Mantis and Cicadas are my favorite insects! I know some people have raised Mantises and take up a hobby in that. Since I can find them less than a hundred feet from my house, I prefer to observe them naturally.
When I was a child, I used to go hunting from mantises to see how many I can find and tried positioning prey near them for them to eat! In the winter, I would also go looking for their egg cases and count how many I could find on weeds and bushes I still do that now! In fact, this winterr I have already found about 30-40 in a small overgrown field behind my home. Once my leg recovers, I plan on doing another egg count to see if I can even more!

| Here are photographs I took way back in 1999 with my old Minolta 35mm camera. Note the difference in image quality compared to today's digital photography! | Although most of these pictures make me throw up inside my mouth a little, I can't stop watching. Beautiful photos. I find them very educational, but half of the time I have no idea what insect I'm looking at. But I really would like to know. Would it be possible for you to name some of them? |

To me it looks like a pastor organizing praying groups. |
