Yellow horses, Sun damage, What to do?

I wanted to start a topic about this for a very long  time now.
I only don't now if its in the right spot, but hoping to get some tips i tought it fits best in the tuttorial area.
(if i'm wrong it alway can be moved afcourse )

But no furter  a do my guestion:
Is there something  to prevent sun damage on the  horses? Even when there are allready in a closed closet?
Is there a way to get the sun damage away?

The yellow on this horse looks like it is not that bad but believe my she is REALLY

An other example of yellow horses. I really don't understand why some horses yellow and other don't/
Horses shown above all have been in a closed closet for there life.

Also schleich can yellow.

I'm scared for the one i have got not in a closed closet but in a display case.
Are they going to yellow also soon ore later?
I alway make sure the sun can not shine directly in to the display cases,
but as you can see also horses that are in a closed closed can yellow.

mayby someone has a great tip ore trick to remoce the yellow without making it worse?
I'm happy to here if here are succes stories on removing the yellow.

Ohhh, HORROR !!!

I hope somebody has a way to help, - clorine, perhaps ?
But if it is a chemical reaction, it may be difficult

I'm not sure if it will work on Schleich and GCs, but with Breyers you can just stick them in the window and whiten them up

I would suggest since you have two of the Schleich pinto, put the yellow one in a window that gets lots of sunlight. Leave him there for a week or two. You can also have a sheet of tin foal up the back so the sun reflects off the foil and bounces back to the model.

I've never done it with Schleichs but it's worth a try If it works on the Schleich then maybe it will work on the GCs!
