The figure I gave you is the right facing one and this one is the left, also the starfish is the smaller figure.

I had this one on my computer, a bit dark and with no lego. If it's OK you can use it for the 14812 Schleich male lion

I noticed this figure was missing. This photo can be used for TAW but I don't have any additional info other than it's belly is marked Safari Ltd. 1996.

Paige, that's one of the Safari grails! It was released in 1997 and in 2007 it was not available anymore.
This page of the 2006 catalogue, last year of its availability, shows a mirrored picture of your figure.

Interesting! I have the cub as well but its already posted. I might even have the orange version somewhere too... I didn't realize it was so rare.

Retired Safari figures tend to be rare after being retired but, as not many people collects them, if we keep searching, we always end getting these figures for affordable prices. You are one of the members with more retired Safari figures, I hope you continue checking what is missing at the Toy Animal Wiki, not many , actually.
You mean the walking tiger marked 2003? It is also missing the corresponding white version.

I guess safari seems "common" to me since that is what usually is sold at specialty toy stores, zoos, museums etc. Here. I see more Schleich commercially where I live but safari ends up in thrift stores or on eBay relatively regularly as well (not the old old ones though).

Most of my Safari came to me when I was younger as at one point in time that was all I had available to buy. I'll be sure to check my older models for wiki holes, but going through my collection originally I didn't notice too many holes. But stay posted... I can at least help with photos for TAW.
