I'm pretty sure the Safari sea turtle is a green sea turtle, so sounds great! The red Silverstone's frog and blue scorpion are exclusive to the calendar, so I took separate photos of them, I thought they probably belonged in the "special editions" calendar category.

Now the swan is also on TAW! I am surprised mute swans are not as common as I expected, actually TAW doesn't have many, mallards are much more common.

This vulture is missing on TAW, it´s a Chap Mei figure and was in the same set as the Lion-tailed macaque. It can be fixed on the arm of a human figure, that was in the set, too.

For the species, I listed it as red-headed vulture (Sarcogyps calvus). However, maybe someone has a better idea.

Totally unrealistic for any vulture or any other raptor species in the world, but if we must put a species name, I think the best match is a turkey vulture (Cathartes aura). The figure was almost sure not made after an specific species tough.

Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, the Chap Mei figures are always way to overstyled and are really more "payable" figures. As you mentioned, this vulture doesn´t present a real existing animal, maybe we should place it under "unintendified". I choosed the red-headed vulture as I found pictures were the animal has as the figure on both sides of the wings white patches. However a turkey vulture would work, too.

Chap Mei moulds are multicultural. We have the famous feline used as a bobcat, snow leopard, serval, etc.
The barred pattern of this model reminds me a lot some serpent eagles, I don't know if the lion-tailed macaque enjoys my idea but often Chap Mei uses a generic mould with the colors of a certain species as I mentioned for that serval.

I added the Siamese crocodile and the Chap Mei bird as a generic raptor because there is already a Chap Mei vulture.

I just saw, that the baby kangaroo from the Wild Republic/K&M Tube Baby Animals was missing on TAW

The foal in this colour is already on the TAW Shetland Pony breed page, it's the same as in this set, they seem to be identical but I thought I'd take a photo alone as well as with the mum just in case you wanted it for the advent calendars section.
