I got this commerson's dolphin at SeaWorld in San Diego in 2008, when they still had their commies on display. It's clearly a re-paint of the Play Visions hourglass dolphin, with a PV stamp and a PV tag, but I haven't seen it anywhere else. Does anyone know if it was made exclusively for SeaWorld?

A very beautyful model, - how big is it ? Toob-size ? Very Happy

Arrrh, why do "the big brands" always make bottlenose , and bottlenose , and bottlenose , and bottlenose , and bottlenose , and bottlenose , and .... Suspect

About 5 inches. It's the same mold as the large PV hourglass dolphin.

This summer we could spent our vacations again in Florida and also have visited SeaWorld park Orlando for a second time after four years.

I have found in the gifts shops some more animals in bigger size like Schleich, Papo or CollectA.

Manatees, whales, sharks, giraffes, tigers, sea turtle, penguins, beluga whale, dolphins and polar bears.

All are marked under the belly with "SeaWorld". The quality is very good, comparable to well-known brands such as CollectA, Papo, Safari or Schleich.

In the next few days I am going to present the different models here one by one.

arrow But it remains the question, who is the manufacturer?  question  study

Let's start with the polar bears. SeaWorld sells three different models, all marked with "SeaWorld".

arrow All three models together.

arrow Very nice details and fur structure.

I have an eagle ray and leopard shark. They were in an Orlando airport SeaWorld giftshop (every local attraction had at least one gift shop in the airport). There were others too, but those were what I wanted.

Thanks, do you mean the figures you have posted in this topic in June 2016 ?

I also have bought the spotted eagle ray you have posted here two years ago.
And I found a tiger shark, a great white shark and a hammerhead shark, but no leopard shark.

Those are the ones. I can't see posts properly on the mobile version so I wasn't sure.

I recall seeing some other sharks, but decided to pass. I already have lots, so it's hard to tell!

It could be, that these are the same shark models I found this year.
They were already offered in the park four years ago, but at that time I only bought the very small figures I have shown at the beginning of the topic.
I also regretted that later in Germany and now I am glad, that I bought so many big models by my second visit in SeaWorld.
