It is a plant with very wide leaves (each one as wide as the area of my hand), in the Melanthiaceae family. Its flowers bloom in May. They are gorgeaous, but they smell like something that has been forgotten in the refrigerator for years. This yucky smell is explained by the fact that Trillium is not pollinized by bees, but by flies. |

| A beautyful and strange flower I have seen them for sale in plant nurseries, but I suppose the smell does not make them very popular in the gardens ? |
