Yes, but almost every animal is too small or too big when compared to some other animal, even in the same range and same company. Baltimore zoo, ordered it from MPV _________________ Robert

| So I've come to realize, that despite enjoying the most of the product(animal figures), I will never be truly satisfied until a company makes a line of animals that are all in the same scale, so that when put in the same display look proportional. |

I think we should start our own brand. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| That mandrill is gorgeous !!!! There is no doubt, - he is (also) on the crowded top of my papo-wish-list Let`s hope that Schleich listens to their customers and also make monkeys for next year |

| Harriet, if I could start my own brand, I would knock the competition out(as far as animal figures go)! I would cater to collectors, and the kids would still be happy! Animals too scale, and most important, "no copycatting"(different positions of the current animals and new animals)!

It's a brilliant idea and could be done too absolutely, no copycatting. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Brilliant, yes I know! Not to sound cocky, but these guys just never get it right, Because there's no rhyme or reason as to what sizes they make the different figures. But there is a little thought(in their small minded brains) that goes in to it, because for example, they(Papo) made a decent sized hippo, but why is the mandrill as big as their gorilla? They didn't make the hippo as big as the lioness! So they know a little something about scale... As far as copycatting, come up with some new positions! Each company tries to make a different version of the same figure. Be different, go outside the box! Plus, I'm so sick of hearing they gear it towards kids or it's for the kids! A kid doesn't care if the male lion is standing or lying on it's back!

Yes, I agree - they go on about their animals being realistic but they missed one important factor - they are not in scale with one another! So, who else likes and supports the idea of starting our own brand - aimed at collectors. I was thinking at first we could just do models made from clays or resins then gradually if the brand does really well, we could then change to rubber materials (like Schleich or Papo) meaning parents can buy them for their kids as well. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*
