I want to like it, but I don't understand the "pose".
Why would a heavily top armoured beast ever strike a pose that would reveal its soft underbelly?

I like the color, its a nice mix of blue and purple, I hope for a few more interesting dino models though I don't technically collect them...

When will Papo show us their 2017 news? Does anybody knows about that?

They usually don't reveal anything until well into the new year (unless it's leaked somewhere like in a toy stores catalog).

I know, but last year, they started at the end of november.

Ceratosaurus!!!

i was mainly looking forward for acrocanthosaurus and it's by far the one i dislike the most, basically because it's standing on its hand, and that ruins a pretty nice body sculpt. the head shape doesn't resemble that of the acro to me as much as it does the rebor's version. Not buying that.

about ceratosaurus, i dislike the color but the figure is pretty cool. i want it as long as it isn't bigger than the papo carnotaurus.

cryolophosaurus looks wonderful, but it has a tripod pose. if it's not enormous, i'll get that one (the most beautifull one they have for this year IMO). great colors.

dimorphodon is too much "jurassicworldish". although it actually has a good level of detail and i love the species, i'm not getting it.

polacanthus is gorgeous and i definitelly want it.

mammals look so crappy if compared to their modern animals line. although seems that most people here are loving the bear, i find it to lack of detail. the smilodon has an interesting sculpt (look at that body; that guy is in top shape!), but the mane it's really off.

to sum on, they manage to sell me 3 out of 4 dinos. not bad.

Well, I am not sure...perhaps they should have called it a cave lion ?

Cave bear! Very nice "Z. Burian retro" style. I like it!

For me the dinosaur that I like most is the acrocanthosaurus and the pterosaur dimorphodon.

It is a shame that in this year the expected giganotosaurus and iguanodon have not been commercialized.

By the way except the polacanthus all other prehistoric animals are carnivores including primitive mammals.
