New from Papo 2017 with link to full catalogue

I've never seen a smilodon with a mane before,that's definitely different! Don't know how accurate that is to the species but it works as a stylistic choice.

Woww, I just ADORE that Cave bear ! It is one of the models, which I can`t wait to hold in my hands

Very interesting Smilodon interpretation ...
Maybe they wanted to make a new smilodon model and also a model of cave lion.... and they made it two models on one : ``Cave SmiLion``
But even not realistic, this model looks very impressive and unique, and I really like it.
Maybe they have to put it in Fantasy world section..
I don`t know much about dinos, so I like them all :)

Susanne, with these strips, looks a bit like the Mojo Daeodon, after I repainted it for you

cave bear, finally! can add another prehistoric mammal to my collection(I dont like Geoworld's & Bullyland's.) The smilodon is awful though and they already have a smilodon figure, why not have made it another saber cat species?

the dinos are cool, i still dont have a Papo dino but I wouldnt mind having a few, just haven't had money and space to fit them in with my other dinos.

The smilodon looks a little bit extraterrestrial, but i love it.

Would like to see more Pleistocene mammals & birds, such as the American lion, Ancient Bison, Dire Wolf, Columbian Mammoth, Jefferson's Ground Sloth, Merriam's Teratorn and a Dagget's Eagle!

Love the Cave bear!! The Smilodon is a different interpretation but doesn't really beat the original Smilodon.

One Cave bear for me in 2017! It is the only interresting Prehistoric model for my taste.

Now I have to wait for the wildlife models

Curiously, I am not also excited with the prehistoric animals, Papo dinos use to be more attractive or it is these pictures that are not appealing me. The smilodon is particularly silly and breaks completely with previous version. Cave bear is also the most interesting for me.

Did PAPO reveal any new animals for 2017 other than the dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures?

Wow!!! The cave bear is excellent! The smilodon is intriguing, the Dino's are great. My brother will be so so excited.

Thanks for the welcome, it's nice to see that someone knows about my home country small as it is. Well speaking for me I love collecting figures and models of almost all sorts, I am especially impressed with PAPO for 2017 making 3 of my favourite theropods even though the Acro's colour has left me a bit disappointed.

Looking forward to seeing what they are releasing animals and sea life for next year.

When will we see the next news? I want to see the fantasy and hope for great mutants.

I am sincerely glad that for once the first figures of a company in this case Papo revealed to the public, have been dinosaurs and prehistoric animals.

I understand that every year the revelation of the figures of each company should be either staggered as Collecta of everything a little or rotating as can happen in Papo, that is to say this year first the dinosaurs and prehistoric animals are revealed, next year they are revealed The domestic animals, the next the fantasy figures.

It would be two solomonic solutions.

Thanks for posting these amazing new dinosaurs! I don't really collect these, but they look amazing this year, especially the Cryolophosaur. Papo has really outdone themselves in terms of detail.

I agree that the lion-like Smilodon is rather unusual, but it does work as an alternate interpretation. It's definitely unlike anything else on the market.

I guess it is the lions and lionesses sculptor and I don't understand why this one doesn't look like a smilodon, with or wthout a mane. I hope we are wrong

Was this all for prehistoric? There is a space between 55063 and 55066.

The Cave bear is the only to get list  .. absolutely menacing , looks a great sculpt !! .. nothing else for me ... waiting for the wildlife now ! thanks Takama for the post

Takama, if I can ask, where did you find these photos? I assume some sort of online catalog, but I'm just curious as to the source.
