Our dear STS friend : Masha ( Teardrop) - my bulgarian friend, found these two , so beautiful models for me
This model, is one of her favorite models from her collection and it was on the top of my wish list, for a long time.
She knew that, so before some time, she promised to me and to her self, that she will find a Breyer cougar for my collection too :)
And she did it ! And not even one, but she found two cougars for me
Double happiness gifted for me, from a very generous person.

Now, let`s see a walkaround of these two color variation models :

Let`s start with this one, which for me has more realistic color :

I really like the colors of this model...just I missed the dark part of the muzzle..
Which is typically for the beautiful face of the cougars.
But still , it is a great painted model :)

Now, cougar number two :

Here we have this typical dark part on the muzzle ...and also more detailed painted eyes :)
The color of the body is more brown ...which is also nice :)

And now, these big guys, decided to pose for a photos with my favorite Cougar model - Papo Cougar, the older one :

Congrats Kosta! I have two Breyer Cougars as well Your orangy colored one is from a Walmart Mustang set from 2001, came with a Classic fighting Mesteno in blue roan. The other is from a 2003 Walmart set with a Black Mesteno

Anyway, I think this is a really well done sculpt and the pose is just fantastic

Now you need the other 6 releases!

Thankyou for the great walkarounds , - it is hard not to smile and smile, seing these perfect pictures of such perfect models              

I also love the picture of them together with the old Papo cugar.
Strangely some people criticize it, but I also think it is a lovely model, and for once the head has a natural size

Masha generousity helped you not only to be happy but contributed, together with your great pictures and enthusiasm to a wonderful doble cougar topic.
Curiously, I had for a short time one of these cougars in my hands once my house served as a kind of layover point to the trip of that fantastic piece. I find it particularly recognizable as a cougar, it is not always easy to get the typical features of this feline in a correct way and Breyer performed a good work. The pose is also very good. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

I also think, that the proportions of the Papo cougar are just perfect and it is a wonderful model :)
And the head has not only a natural size, but also a very ``Cougar`` face :) ..Something which is missing on the new papo model for example..

Congrats! They are wonderful. The mold is one of my favorite Breyer animals. The sculptor, Kitty Cantrell, is quite talented.
