I have a huge passion for these old vintage charging bisons. They are exciting, dynamic, powerful and everything else we can think about. Lineol also released a sublime one. I only have a small plastic one based on these but enough to make me happy. These composition models are really treasures and hard to find for an affordable price.
I enjoy that you used the mighty Papo American bison, newer version, to show as comparison. I think the Papo figure also has a remarkable vintage touch. Curiously, I own the previous Papo bison that is not as mighty neither detailed but it is a very competent figure too. Thanks for bringing one more piece of the glorious history of vintage German animal figures.

Actually the first Elastolin I saw (and wanted badly ) in the early 70's was the 1:32 plastic one copy.

I agree with rogério, I feel that some Papo models are inspired by vintage German toys style. I like this
