| António, there's no doubts that you are very exigent with your painting work and with the sculpts you choose. In most of your pictures, figures look like real animals. These two antelopes resulted incredibly good, the oryx looks like a divine creation. |

| It's time for a huge bunch of models I've created 17 new figures during Christmas Holidays and today I've uploaded them all Because of this high number, I'll only show one render per model, but there are more on my Shapeways page. First I've a I think unique, but recognizable, pose for the cheetah, with this stretching and yawning male , created for Antonio And this very large bull I created for Dom. It's based on the largest known, 4-meters-tall bull, named the Fénykövi elephant, displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, combined with the heaviest recorded tusks, both over 3 meters in length, which are known as the Kilimanjaro tusks, owned by the Natural History Museum in London. I also have my first Elephant cow: And a calf for the African Elephants It was also time to give the male antelopes I have some female counterparts. It's been more than 5 years and now that little Kirk's Dik-Dik got a female: And a lady for the Common Eland: For the Gemsbok I've created two females: And this is the female Greater Kudu, busy with ruminating And now it's time for some new species. First I created on request my first extinct animal. Here is the Woolly Mammoth, based on a skeleton at the Smithsonian Institute. Here is the Waterbuck, a male and female right away (so they don't have to wait for years for each other ) Also a male and female Nyala: And last, 3 Gerenuks, including 2 females who are busy reaching the tastiest leaves It's been a lot, but I hope you'll love all these new additions. _________________ Stijn. | You're doing a really outstanding job populating a tiny savannah! Thrilled to see your new additions.
As a side note, also really enjoy seeing sculptors base their works on particular real animals.
Great work! |

Thanks! I don't create casts of these models, but I do sell them as 3D printed figurines in 2 different types of plastic. On my site https://www.shapeways.com/shops/mininature you can find them in multiple scales. _________________ Stijn. My Site with 3D Printable Animals

| That's great! Do you export to other European countries too? I may end buying one of the gerenuks and an impala maybe... I suggest you adding to you website a way to order the figurines by species or have a species index :) _________________ My collection:- (Details):

I suggest you adding to you website a way to order the figurines by species or have a species index :) Yes, Shapeways is the company who prints it and they ship to every European country. I think you're absolutely right about the species index. I want that too, but because it's a community site, I have to design my page between the borders they have created. So I can't create any way to filter on specific species, next to the filter for scales. I hope in the future that site create more options for me to handle my page. _________________ Stijn. Are some of the figures hollow? |
