Two of the best llama models together

Llamas are another mistery. You present here the Elastolin version from around 1950.
I wanted to find the Lineol competitor llama on 1958 catalogue and I haven't found it. However, we can see on Figurenmuseum.de what seems to be a IV generation of a beautiful llama and a foal. Veb Plaho also have small versions of a llama adulte and a calf , as Plaho's range is based on Lineol's, it may confirm that Lineol IV existed.
About the Elastolin, it looks to me the exact same we can see on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but, obviously, I am not sure.
Your Papo llama is the famous guanaco that wanted to be a llama.
That's another great comparison and although the Elastolin looks somewhat like a long-necked sheep, it is much better balanced than the Papo version.

Roger, you are right. It´s often not easy find the right numbers.

I also have seen the Llama at Willy´s catalogue posting.

The difficulty is, there were sometimes new versions over the years, which mainly change only a little bit in structure or color.
Here is a comparison. The photos are made by Mr.Laue and show two llamas, which he sells on Ebay. One is from 1920, another model from 1950.

Here is an Ebay Auction with an Llama by Lineol.
The seller writes in the text, that these figure has in Mr.Raues catalouge for "Lineol-Tiere" the number 065/2.

They are very similar indeed. The biggest difference may be the way the fur is sculpted. Pose and proportions look all the same to me.
