Llamas are another mistery. You present here the Elastolin version from around 1950.
I wanted to find the Lineol competitor llama on 1958 catalogue and I haven't found it. However, we can see on Figurenmuseum.de what seems to be a IV generation of a beautiful llama and a foal. Veb Plaho also have small versions of a llama adulte and a calf , as Plaho's range is based on Lineol's, it may confirm that Lineol IV existed.
About the Elastolin, it looks to me the exact same we can see on

Your Papo llama is the famous guanaco that wanted to be a llama.
That's another great comparison and although the Elastolin looks somewhat like a long-necked sheep, it is much better balanced than the Papo version.
